Hi all,

 

I just changed my engine oil as stated on the above post. The engine oil changed is 20w50.

 

I noticed that the bike now become heavier and more vibration when riding but during iding it dont vibrate much as compare to before.

 

So far everyone who change engine oil feel engine become smoother but i feel the opposite.

 

Is it because of the 20w50 engine oil which is too thick for this bike?

 

Please assist. :)

As mentioned by SW9000: "You won't go wrong with either the Maxima Extra 10W40 or the Motul 7100.

Both are similar in performance but maybe the 7100 feels a bit heavier that's all.

10W50 EO might be too heavy for normal bikes"

 

Means that yr enging oil 20w50 is too heavy for maxsym..maybe u better change to factory recommendation 10w40, coz the manual says if engine spoil due to wrong eo used, they will not cover the warranty

Spark plug on the left side. Access by taking the front part where the petrol compartment, at the seat front got screw.

Don't be bothered about the W as in winter. applies to cold, freezing and below.

Lower W usually means it a better oil with more additive. Especially synthetic.

The important is the rear number at 100 degrees celcius

70W90 75w90 80w90 all can use.

 

Btw, autobac do stock quite a few brands from motul to Redline to Amsoil.

Price quite ex about $35 per 950ml or 1 litre :)

Accidental found out a new feature, if you ON the hazed light & OFF the engine. The hazed light continue to operate (even if you on-off the hazed light switch). To off it, switch ON the bike (no need to start engine), put the hazed light switch to OFF.

Guys, wanna ask if anyone can snap a pic of your left disc.

 

Wanna see if both discs have the same wear.

 

Cause my left disc is still very "new"

Helloo guys....!

 

I currently riding sym 150, i stay at pasir ris and work at TUAS! The bike cannot handle. So i wan to upgrade.. My bike shop recommend me to take cbr 600f4i, Tmax is out, and this new sym.. Can u guys that have ride the bike advice me? Can the bike take me from pasir ris to tuas and back? Can i maintain the speed at 100-110? At HWay? Can tis bike speed?

Maxsym has no problem in handling speed 100-110km/hr on highway:)

Coz i have been doing that..infact everyday i ride from Bedok to woodlands @ 120km/hr all the way non-stop. P/s i have tried 140km/hr on this bike not full throttle yet *wink*

No sound of bike stress or other noises like bike going to explode lol..

Its one of the best choice of maxi scooter available in the market with an affordable price :)

 

Here are some of the features:

lol..no la..just my opinion of the bike only...

1 thing i dont like is the rear suspension and exhaust

hopefully soon they make one for masxym
