I always send my bike to mah at 845am. The chief mech is the one who open the gate. He usually entertain me on the spot. Then let him push bike into work shop. Next I will go buy some kopi bring into workshop for them and sort of hang around. That way I can see what is going on.

Bloody engine gasket leaking. Need to replace it. Damn. Doing it in Bukit Indah. Saw the engine top after mech opened up. For 12k mileage, I think the wear is quite bad...

Th carbon is quite normal, but the rusty stuff could be because ur head gasket gone and coolant go into the engine area.

Good job. This is exactly what I have.

 

Do be really patient removing the old one. Not the best of material. Once the bolt breaks its going to be a long day.

 

Where did u get it? Any pic of it after installation?

Smoke emitted from my scoot.. no idea coming from where. Happens only when bike is parked more than 12 hrs and during warm up. After warmed up, no issue.. mystery remains.

Like Na'im said, some bikes show wear, some bikes no problem. For me, I've pushed the bike to unreasonable limits, and it's performed without much complaint so far.

I want to change front & rear tyres. Any recommendation?

A lot shop don't carry our tyre size. Which shop have?

Looks like only pirelli and metzler have out tyre sizes.

 

JR pte Ltd have the Metzeler Feel free tyres for our scoot. They don do installation though.

 

For pirelli, most scooter servicing shop have the sizes. I guess u can try, TaiHin, HL cycle, unique motors... etc

Press the black round butt next to the footrest and the footrest will swing out by itself.. That it!

For those who are interested, i DIY and bought it at $5.20 from a hardware shop.

It's a replacement for the poor quality and rusty exhaust clamp.
