It can only fit in a full face - agv flip up. Can't put both full face n open face together.

 

Felt powerful. Overall looks gd except for the nose abit flat. If sharp abit. Drooling liao.

 

Btw to those who purchase.

How much u all purchase and included insurance ? 2nd party?

For me I buy when the COE goes up haiz :(

 

Machine Price: SGD$9000 (Price going up soon *high demand*)

Insurance: 1st Party for me AXA Insurance SGD$1300

COE: SGD$2300

Misc: ?????

Total Damaged: SGD$13750

My bike shop got the list and ntuc is super expensive...

My first party insurance for NTUC is $1700 :(

 

the bike shop recommends u to take 2nd party?

New bike can take 2nd party meh?

no lar not master lar..... just someone who has interest in scoot mods.... esp external.... LOL :) even the PCX has mod kit which make me drools.... :)

Even 3rd party also can...if you paid in full lah ha ha, if installment anything happens - pay for repair or pay installment first? That's why bike shop ask you take 1st party to be on the safe and sensible side. I think :p

Double confirm on that. If paid in full can take 3Rd party.

12.5k all in b4 insurance.

 

Anyways alot of insurance companies do not have maxsym 400i in their 'drop down' list. I have to remind a few of them that it is like Burgman 400 or SW 400 so that they have better idea when sourcing for a quote. Most quotes are well below $500 (Comprehensive, me old uncle) so far.

Wah, you use Burgman and silverwing to quote, like that they sure quote expensive ha ha.

Before highlighting that it's a 'maxiscoot' they used a 400cc road bike as the equivalent for the quote instead.

It's okay lah, your OTR b4 insurance better rate than mine.

 

3 things one shouldn't go budget on

1. Insurance (some blokes are willing to save that hundred++ and downgrade to '3rd Party')

2. Tyres (Some jokers only buy old/used tyres with >70 thread life)

3. Brakes

 

Happy riding and hopefully we can do a simple meetup when we chooot chia.

Never compromise on brakes and tyres datz for sure...

 

frm my experience using a cheap SHINKO TYRES, and skidded without even jamming the brakes :(

 

now for tyres must use Diablo Scoot or Metzeler Feelfree :thumb:

Good tyres = good grip = wear fast

Good brake pads = faster stop = faster disc wear ha ha
