My first 270km seems to encounter the same as you. after top up 13.1L. Works out to be only 20.6km per litre.

Using Esso 5000 as well. And the fuel gauge already drops to empty(lower part of the red), I scare so immediately top up.. haha..

Did it help with the servicing?

Dont worry bout the FC, coz its normal during running-in coz the engine havnt season yet.

My guess your bike is noisy and vibrating so much too right?

Maybe if you drop by bedok again u can try to see my maxsym, it not vibrating at all and the engine is so quiet too :thumb:

Its in 7100km mileage btw..heheh

Bro, what is the price u pay for?

How to install?

I bought this voltage stabliser called "D1 Spec Voltage Stabliser"

Call me a beliver, coz after i installed this voltage stablizer, my voltage is 14.5v, and even in idling mode...

also you can hear the sound of the engine..no more rough grunt but instead a bassy vbooooommm...

I cant explain why but i guess the voltage stablizer supply constant current to the FI and other electrical components thus making it more stable.

This is what i encounter la after install it...its quite a huge equipment btw, bigger than Raizin VS

http://www.toyotafans.net/d1-spec-voltage-stabilizer-t199.htm

P/S the wrong misconception: Voltage Stabliser is not a fuel Saving device, it is just to regulate a constant supply of current to your bike's electrical component :D

For example:

Before Voltage Stabliser current supply will be like this-> 12v - 13v - 12.5v - 14v

With Voltage Stabliser current supple will be like this-> 13v - 13v - 13v - 13v

Change of engine oil to Agip 10W40, is helping alot i can see (because in the past every day drop 1 bar of the fule gauge).

Now at least 1 an half day or 2 day den it drop for 1 bar, FC is lesser now and i still waiting for next top up of petrol to check on the actual FC.

I just ride nomally average 100km/h each trip 30 km (from Boon lay to Central).

in modern car/bike, the alternator/regulator. sometime will produce up down voltage instead of constant voltage.

a voltage stabliser will regulate the voltage to be constant aka give a constant mA to the signal to pump the correct amt of fuel or reading etc. which will indirectly give better fc or torque etc.

Hmm.. I can't really tell whether it's too noisy or vibrating too much.. ya. have to compare with yours.. hee hee.

Really like the changes u did to your pipe..

Hopefully it becomes better after the running in.

With great Power, comes great responsibility.

Yes, voltage stabliser is not for fuel saving but it does help a little bit with constant working environment, the FI module especially will last longer and work better typically.

The wrong concept many have is grounding, by just putting a few big fat cable from whatever to the metal ground, it don't really help a lot but only to the installer's wallet. Most bike/scooter grounding are ok, unless the owner install some very large current device or electronic add-on which is sensitive to ground differentiate voltage, many time grounding is bad are due to poor workmanship, apply wrong type of grease to moving parts and causing partial electrical isolation, there are specific type of lub use for moving parts with good conductivity, NOT all oil/lub are the same.

The one you mentioned I believe is for car/truck, there are smaller version for bike/scooter which work the same, just plug into the ciger lighter socket (if have one) or fix it permanently after the stock regulator before the battery, the different can be feel immediately after installed.

Alamak now den u tell me...lol...the d1 spec that i buy is super huge with 5big capacitor same like those size D battery...as compare to raizin, it capacitor is smaller same like those size AA battery...i wonder if it makes any difference...

If you mentioned big capacitors, it is the old design LC or RC or LRC filter base stabliser, mainly for car stereo kind of equipment, voltage still not fully regulated, the one I mentioned is digital controlled (very expensive) or analog controlled (more affordable and practical) with feedback control, only small capacitors to stablise the output.

The capacitors are only for filtering noise and storing a bit of charge, not really important, the important is the circuit design, the one shown in the picture looks like with voltage/reference comparison, voltage should be stable, but no guarantee current will be stable, also from the design, the working load is not very big, might just suitable for bike/scooter.

Guang dao use a variety of big and small capacitors. IMO that is pretty gd.

Eh wait.........this one i saw at Seranggon North First Center..i was asking the car mech on which voltage stablizer is the best and he show me this..its about the same as D1 Spec but he say it is one of the best and more reliable voltage stabliser :thumb:

Mine is 3point but i only ground one to the body :D

Horn become louder and lighting brighter too :thumb:

Err ya. Quite gd IMO. But of course I didn't know any biker will be interested. That y nv say or intro
