During running in yes..go quite a vibration..but after running in there is no vibration:-)

haha cos i did only experience that vibration issue after i change my gts belt last time.. now that you mentioned it. :angel:

2008 July - 2010 March: Daelim Roadwin R 125 (FBC 8363 K)

2010 March - 2011 September: SYM GTS 200 (FBD 7445 J)

so little? I think he tot our bike is the same as GTS 200 lol..but manual says replace 330ml bro or else your Gear box will be very hot :(

 

The oil Grade also plays a big role too ---->

 

Before i use 85w-90, My Gear box compartment is very hot esp long distance ride and now after i change to 75w-140, my Gear box temperature is noticeably cooler :)

 

Btw did the mech mentioned what happen to your bike's gear box?

Yes i did ask the chief mechanic what happen and he said one of the oil seal 'koyak'.Got rust on one of the gear,so thats why 4 days bike in workshop waiting for parts...Now all change already.Then purposely ask about the gear oil quantity,chief mechanic say abt 260ml.Previously ask the mechanic 180ml only...even worst.Ask viscocity 85w140 but then he said 85w90 can already...But not feeling good after reached home so bought 75w140 gear oil from autobac,drain old oil and pour in new one 330ml.Now got peace of mind...hehehe...When draining old oil found like even lesser than 260ml...phew....change already...

Lol..if u realise, wen u use 85w90, the belting compartment will be very hot as compare to 85w140:)

Hi guys. How do I open the seat without turning on the bike?

I tried turning the key to the left without pushing it in but it seems tight and I don't dare to force..

If that is the case, u need to on the bike and use the yellow button, then u open the seat and lock again...

den u try use the key to open..

I encounter this sometimes coz my storage is super full..lol..

But am I suppose to force the key to the left? There is some resistance but I'm afraid to force it..

Bro,correct got resistance but not much.i suggest if u want to open seat with e key,apply some pressure on e seat where e locking device is located and turn e key without releasing e pressure.Should be able to open.Again a reminder,when turning key got too much resistance dont force!!The whole locking mechanism behind e ignition will break and have to replace.Thats wat happen to me before...Took one whole day to replace with spare avail,if not wait few days....

Okay...think I'll go back to Mah and tell them the seat is giving me issues..difficult to lock..lock already but not tight..use key difficult to open...

 

Btw anyone else right side pillion leg rest got problem keeping?

The best is no to use force coz the keys is quite soft easy to bend or worst break..maybe for now u use the yellow button first aftrr u rectify with mah den u can use the keys to open the seat....

I saw a Honda Ruskus PS250 at AMK Autopoint, is on the 5th floor, is a yellow one, believed is a 2006 model, with twin headlamp, I think belonged to a shop owner. :)

 

Was in HK the whole of last week, saw a few Maxsym on the road, as well as Kymco DTs.

 

But I really like the sights of Honda PS250 running about there the best. Alot of Kuai Lou in office wear riding in the CBD area. Been looking for this bike all along in SGP for years but timing was never right to land one here.

Whats wrong with the pillion leg rest?

 

I think my right side pillion feet rest is faulty. It should be able to snap back properly when u push it back in like the left side but I need to push it in and push it downwards then it will lock into place

Just collected the scoot and yes me too got the problem with my right pillion foot rest it abit hard to press and when push it back need to push it downwards then it will lock in place.

 

Other then that its fine except for the vibration when moving off like the clutch slip like that. Izzit normal?

For me vibration is a lot when travelling at 20-40km. Was worst previously. Now mileage at 600 plus.

Ya the vibrations are cause of running in and engine oil. The engine oil used is mineral oil but i dunno what exactly I just know It's Castrol brand..

bro.. is normal.. coz running in use mineral.. afta 1k ... for mi i change mine eo.. at 1600... den change and use full sys and change oil filter too.. afta tat.. i realised less vibration not sae don have.. but less.. coz maxsym using belting.. is normal... cheers..

Dont worry guys, still under running in and the vibration abit too much..but its normal..after u completed ard 1k and change to fully syn eo, den u wont feel so much vibration, if to me u feel minimal :thumb:

p/s my max is alrdy at 10k km..lol

To be honest, i seen more Maxsym now compare to the new SW400 or Burger 400 and once in a blue moon to see Majesty 400 on the road..lol
