if it is excessive...like a smoker,..

indicates the seal between the piston ring/ cylinder is bad.

sometimes a change of piston ring will solve this problem..

if the wear and tear is excessive..then piston needs to be change..or worse incluiding the cylinder liner/ block..

get it fix as soon as possible before it gets worse..

cost??

depend on your ride..from a block change etc etc...coulld be as low as $150..

or towards $800..for a block...i it can be done. some bikes more complicated than others..

so..get a quote rom your mech..then others will be able to commend on it...

as you have not indicated whether this is a cupchai or a fancy race bike...

Are you riding 2 stroke or 4 stroke? Is it air cooled or liquid cooled. You are not providing enough information so how can people help you? Its all guesswork.. that's why you can never get a good reply.

Normally white smoke on a liquid cooled engine means blown head gasket. I am guessing and assuming that you have a liquid cooled bike too.

Overhaul ! if the engine is 2stroke thats normal to have white stroke

what are u guys talking about..

2t bikes never gives out white smoke..

2t smoke got la..

when ur 4t bike gives out white smoke could be 1001 reasons as 2 y?

simply it got to do with the mechs in ur engine..

best advice is to overhaul ur engine..n thats that

ps.. thick white smoke has not got anything to do with ur block...

Probably of the 2T you use also. Those cheap 2Ts very watery & not good for the bike. Better to use quality 2Ts from any petrol kiosk. Cost more but save your bike & you money in the long run:)
