1st Trip Report: Melaka - 1st Oct ~ 2nd Oct

Trip to Melaka

Total Bikes: 1 S4, 1 KR150, 2 Phantoms and one scramble.

Total Mileage: To and from Melaka = 443.1km (based on Analog)

Travel speed: 80~110km/h (based on analog) (Digitally 75~95km/h)

Total Time taken: Est 5 hours after leaving GP and reaching hotel lobby..

1st Oct (Sat)

Meet up at West Coast Mac 6am, do some basic chain lube, all other basic servicing has been checked and done at least 1~2 days before handand breakfast~

7.30am move off

8am reached GP

Slack too long 8.40am den move off.. Saw a group of Harleys came in...

reach Machap estimated 1 hour later as it's our first time touring, went to "Machap exit" instead of R&R.. hahaha!

Estimated 9.30am : Machap R&R (exactly 80km)

It was raining downpour.. Always expected the unexpected..

Stop half way to wear raincoats/glove off and etc etc..

Estimated 10.40am reached Pagoh R&R.. (Exactly 70km)

Pump Petrol and etc.. Reached Melaka Toll estimated 11am

Slack, snap a few photos and continue to inner town of Melaka, got a bit lost but was lucky to have GPS ready.. It's super complex as you have to ride pass a few graveyards, and very small roads..

Went to Pump one last time before parking in Hotel.. *was being told by one of the Shell petrol station that they never seen a SG plate bike before.. haha..

Reached Hotel at estimated 12pm.

Security measures taken and lock up everything..

Went to the famous places in Melaka and till next day we ride home..

Pictures speak louder than words..

A small incident.. Some rocks or metal or wood fly up and hit one of the headlights, it broke immediately(this happen in spilt seconds as I witness the entire thing).. This tell us following distance must be kept strictly.. No following too closely..

& the bus and lorry and huge vehicles.. dun let them overtake you or just let them overtake you.. just bear in mind.. you will be slap by the wind.. be mentally prepared..
