hey peeps, i got a small prob here.. haha.. to cut a long story short, i got a stuck nut on one of e screws on my back rest.. now i cant tighten or loosen.. u guys got any idea how to remove it? i noe got a tool can cut e nut in half one, but i dunno where to get or borrow it.. ha.. anyone can help?

a nut spliter, but its very ex... dun know anyone here have it...

not enuff space between nut n bolt head.. ha.. if not i'd haf done so le, haha.. someone recommended me to drill thru e nut, now gg to look for a suitable drill.. haha.. wonder if it'll be hard to drill thru a stainless steel nut..

then use a hand grinder and grind out the nut or bolt... all bike shops will have a hand grinder... even i have i at home!!! haha...

nope it's not difficult..

best to get a cobalt bit instead of a normal HSS bit..

remember to lube..

 

used to be an SQE dealing with metals..

it can be done..

diamond tip is the best..

dun have can borrow wifey's one to make one..
