enquries about transfering ownership for COI

Hi, i am posting this under behalf of my friend.

He wants to sell his SP soon.. but this is the story,

 

He kena samon before for illegal parking, and sucessfully appealed. Once.

But also kena photo taken by LTA or TP for driving in bus lane at bus hours, but after about 3 weeks later then he recieved the letter from LTA/TP.

But unfortunatly he wants to sell the bike just after he got photo taken. And currently he is trying to appeal the offence.

 

Questions is can he still transfer the ownership then clear the fine later? OR

clear the fine first then can transfer.?

I tried to google it around and search for something but too much things to read i not really quite sure.

If I'm not wrong he can. Those fines are attached to his name, not bike. If its fines like erp etc.. then I think diff story liao..

 

Experts pls correct me if I'm wrong.. or you can call up lta and ask..straight foward answer

What is stopping you or your friend from calling LTA?

Just go ahead with the transfer... dont worry the document comes with the date thus new owner can divert any offence as of the date of transfer took place as stated in the documentation.
