i'm doing a solo ride to Hatyai this weekend. just booked my hotel today ^_^

leaving on Fri am(6 jan) and return on Mon am(9 jan)

what are your weekend programmes like? pls PM me. mabbe i can link up with u guys.

at night, i should be at Kiss Channel. daytime i should be wandering all over the places : )

Estimated speed: 90~100km (digital)

 

-There's no restriction on CL2B or CL2.. Anyone is welcome to join. (CL2 can ride all the way to R&R and wait for the rest den continue again after CL2B leave) I'm riding a 2B KRR only so I'll normally remain as last bike.

*CL2/CL2A, please be advise to know the way or at least know the turns, do not ask me to get everyone to ride at your comfort speed as my speed is fixed..

-Please ensure your bike is in best condition as we don't wish any bike to break down anywhere along NSH.

-Min knowledge of your bike is required.

-Know all basics troubleshoot of your bike and fix it yourself.

-Do not stop along the roadside no matter what as alot of accidents happened.

-Stay at left lane unless you see something weird is infront.

 

Please rest well and ride safety as I would not know what you are doing the previous night or control how you ride.

 

Items to prepared before going Thailand

1) Tyre repair kit (with gas) Tubeless

2) Disc lock (alarm preferred) bring the allen keys for disc lock.

3) Spare spark plug/clutch cable/black tape or masking tape

4) Rain coat / rain shoes

5) Clothing to last you at least 4 days/personal hygiene

Thai bahts / RM(Must) / Cash card /touch and go card (Can borrow from friends)

6) Insurance covered in Malaysia and thailand for that 4 days.

7) Wind-proof lighter for smokers to light their ciga while riding.. =P

Normal Chain + chain lube and normal pad-lock

9) Water proof bags or tank bags to put your stuff

10) 1 metre long of chain + lock if you want to chain your bike together

 

Last but not least, please ensure you are wearing full covered shoes/ Jeans / normal helmet. (NO half cap/Shorts!)

*Singapore and NSH is TOTALLY diff..

 

We will have 1 meet up on the convoy and etc during Dec 2011.

 

For those who have problem seeing at night/wear contact lens, please wear your spec while riding.

 

Preferred: Can travel 150km without refueling. (can skip every 1 alternate petrol kiosk and save time)

If anything happen I will only call tow for you and you have to pay for all charges

 

 

Estimated plan:

1st day: Meet up West Coast Mac @3am

Reached Sadao custom around 5pm (Latest) *So first day is F&F message/ rest / drink (if you have the strength to)

2nd Day: Can service bike there if needed (wrap seats) and etc.

3rd day: Ride out together to catch some breath taking scenery and etc..

4th day: Ride back SG

 

Latest update:

1) No cancellation fees as long it's cancelled within 2 weeks prior to arrival.

2) 1000baht/room/night (Est $50/2 person)

3) Deposit of extra 1k baht/room in case u use anything from the room or damage anything from the room.

4) There's security guard around the carpark but they can't "guard" your bike 24hours.

5) Please bring a chain of 1 meter and 1 lock if you wan to chain your bike with the rest. (I bring a few meters on my previous trip and it's tiring on the way back) =(

 

Hotel: 3k baht in total per room = $150 (round up) *if you have friends coming, you 2 will share the cost, if don't have friends who's coming with you, we'll have to see whether you prefer to sleep alone or with anyone else who's going.. (Meet up and discuss once your leave approved, hotel as well)

We'll take 900km just in case.. Petrol: RM3/Litre (Max)

 

Example:

My bike FC = 20KM/Litre

900KM / 20KM = 45 Litres required to achieve 900KM

45 Litre x RM$3 = RM$135.. *Round up abit just in case.. 2 way = $135RM x 2 = RM$270 ~ S$110..

+ Breakfast / lunch *depending what you prefer..

Hotel: 1000baht/night/room= 3k(3nights) + 1k baht deposit(refundable upon check out) ~ S$225

(Round up abit)*conversion rates might varies

 

1 person's damage = $115 + $110 = S$215 (Required)excluding meals.

 

Meals in MY = Est RM$10/Meal.. x est 4 meals = RM$40 ~ S$20 (round up)

Meals in Thailand = Normally, I'll prepared ard S$25/day S$25 x 4 = S$100

 

Estimated Per person total damage = S$335.. (if solo in the room, + $110)

 

S$335 ~ S$400 will be a safe amount.. $500 confirm enough..
