There was once a time when it was unthinkable to own a Kawasaki in any other colour than green...things have changed a bit since then though, and there aren't too many green ones around any more...

 

OK, my knowledge is far from exhaustive but here's what I know about the ZX9R...the earliest model you're likely to find is the B model (I don't even know if there ever was an 'A' model)...I guess for a good model you'd expect to pay anything up to about $5K but you could probably pick one up for a bit less than that. Its a bit big and heavy, but the engine (like most Kawasakis) is bombproof. The C model is the one both myself and Throttle have...it came out in 1998 and is a very different bike to the B model. I guess you'd be looking at $5.5-8K depending on the condition and age. Finally comes the E model...it's essentailly the same as the C model except it has a more powerful engine...I have no idea how much these are changing hands for.

 

OK...bear in mind these prices are just my own estimates and could be miles away from the truth!!!

Personally speaking, I love my niner...its easy to ride around town, has a neutral riding position which doesn't hurt your wrists, and it turns into a real handful when you feel the need to open the throttle!

I agree with Steve. 6 six yrs ago when I am still riding a 400cc bike, I saw a fuc&ing green beast parked at a petrol kios & it's really look fierce & sexy. If there is any new Niner without the Ten, I will choose her.

been some time i post on ninja forum..cos jus start work..sibei tiring.
