Hi Alex, there must be a mix up ! If you remember specifically that they have told you that the jacket include a thermal liner, then they have got the fact wrong. Like I said, there was a tag on the jacket that mentioned that the liner is optional. I take to mean that the liner do not come as standard. But then again, sometime we hear something which we want to hear and may believe we heard what we did not actually hear.

 

Perhaps Kumar( the long hair guy ??) must have took it that the jacket comes with a liner which it actually do not. It is difficult to remember so many jackets and their various configuration, etc. So someone must have made a mistake. As it seems, Kumar is not about to or may not have realised that he made an error to admit this, right ?

 

I believe that the customer is always right but in this situation both party would need to reconsider the need of the other. One to conduct the business of selling and the other as a consumer being given wrong information. End of the day, there is so many possibilities. You believe you are right and he believe he is too ! No point dwelling on the issue. Just leave it and take it as a bad experience or an learnt one.

 

 

I seldom post on this site but happen to chance upon your posting and found it interesting to put my 1cts worth. When I get my bike back in April, I would be happy to meet up with you. Cheers !

PS : I thought I paid a good price for a European jacket only to realise that the jacket is made in China, as like very things else. Now, with this fact, the jacket appears to be expensive originating from a 3rd world nation. I thought that some cute Dutch girl had sewn the jacket. Nevertheless, the Airflow is a smart fitting, body hugging, nice jacket despite the price.

Like I said over many times, we were quoted with the jacket & he has told me the price included the lining. No point arguing in this forum b/c you are not there.

 

Kumar is my friend & not the shop assistant. If you want to meet up, you don't need a bike & mine is the shop too. PM me your contact & we talk over kopi. Public transport is accessible.

 

Whether to go ahead to do something about it, we will see.
