Say, what's the diff between the ZX6R and the ZX6RR? Yes, one is 36cc lesser, but what other differences are there?

Hey kato and who ever else riding the 636 a friend of mines ones to buy it his not interested inspeed he was just awed by the beauty of the 636 so wat are the pro and cons of owning 1 the bike he is looking at is a fw plate bike with 7000km on the clock any comments

Tell your friend to wait till the '05 ZX636R model is released in Singapore ... the price of the '04 ZX636R will definitely drop a bit ...

 

But if he cant wait ... what the heck ... just buy it ... :thumb:

the 636 is the official bike of the california superbike school.....

 

In life , there are a few things i hope to do so as not to be too caught up with the materialistic and boring ways of Singapore

 

i have done quite a few of these things already but one thing i have not done yet is to take a lesson by the superbike school and ride on a GP track (Sepang not included)

hope to be able to plan a trip to do just that next year......................Philip Island !!!!

If your fren wanna to buy a first hand 636 wait for 05 model.. if your fren wanna to get a second hand one just grap it because find to find 636 selling second hand one.. if the cond. is good. price is reasonable..

the break hose already done as for the 636 i am very temted to trade in my bird and get before he does hahaha it damn Fcuking chio i tell u,,hahaha dont tell him i said so..

can any ZX4 riders teach mi how to drain the coolant out from the bike...coz want to try to DIY myself... thanks :cheeky:

Let me try to assist ... however please note that I have personally not done this myself ... but by referring to H*ynes Manual for Kawa Dummies ...

 

1. First remove all fairings, front cowl depends ... (Note engine needs to be cool)

 

2. Remove the lower radiator hose connection

 

3. Remove the radiator cap

 

4. Drain the radiator completely by removing all the hose connections on the radiator.

 

5. Flush the radiator with water hose.

 

6. Reconnect all the hoses

 

7. Fill up the radiator with 50% distilled water and the rest with anti-rust coolant.

 

8. Start and warm up the bike ... check for leakage and top up coolant reservoir tank if necessary.

 

9. Refit all fairings.

 

10. Check for abnormal temperature rise, abnormal running of radiator fan, abnormal white smoke(steam) from the hoses and radiator.

 

If item 10. exist ... please proceed to the nearest Kawa dealer and inform them that you screw up the bike and its time withdraw more money from the nearest ATM teller .... :faint:

Just gotta add to no7. Some coolant you buy is premixed, in which case just fill up.

Point no.10 (Check for abnormal temperature rise, abnormal running of radiator fan, abnormal white smoke(steam) from the hoses and radiator.) if steam comes out near the radiator during washing...is it normal?? coz i have this problem for some time...

Oooooooohhhh...for trackday 16th, we will do the 10am session. 2 hours is enough for me, so by the time we pack up and go it will be about 1245hr. arrive SG 2pm.

 

let me see if I can squeeze 9th october instead of 16th, Steve.

I should return from Indo on 8th evening. if not burnt out, then we do 9th Oct instead. cheers
