A "red light" appear constantly on IU UNIT

Hi bros/sis,

 

anyone of you had encountered this kind of issue before?

There is a red light appeared "constantly" on my IU Unit,

it can read the value of the the cashcard.

 

Is the IU unit fautly?

Simply head down to any Vicom or STA centre to get it checked out. If your IU is still within 5 year warranty, you can have a replacement for free!

my IU also gave me a red light last week, but i ignored it as weekdays i seldom use the IU...

 

the light went off, so i thought nothing about it, until.... i went to a shopping center, went in the gantry, detects my IU and i went in... but when i was going to exit, it keep prompting me to insert cashcard (i already inserted) so i was there re-inserting the cashcard a few times but this time round it no longer reads the cashcard... endup, cuz of me, got long queue waiting zzzz

 

went Vicom yesterday, replaced my IU for foc, whole process including waiting and them to check n replace took about 1 hour.

with the redlight, i was still shown card balance when i insert.

few days later, no more redlight, but no error, no balance shown, it's just blank (like not turned on) but the scanner still able to read my IU

For my case, I was able to see the card balance even with the "red-light" on, still able to scan through ERP.

Few days later, no more red-light and back to normal..

 

For now, it's like Normal hahaha dont understand what had happen too
