Hi bros I need ur experience on this,

Lets say I want to cancel my insurance today but I will only do a full transfer for my bike next week, is it legal if I keep the bike at my MSP but not riding it or must I layup the bike even if the bike has a long way to go before road tax expiry? It will only be a few days.

Secondly, lets say Im going to cancel my insurance next week fr my current bike meaning to say that I do not want to layup the bike, and I proceed to buy another new insurance for my new bike today from the same company, AXA , and I am entitled to 10% NCD..Will my policy for the 2nd bike be entitled for the 10% while I wait a few more days to cancel my current one? If anyone have experience this before please share..

Thanks :thumb:

Should be okay. Since insurance is only needed for the rider to ride the bike legally while road tax is for the bike to be legally on the road. Just as long you don't ride the bike during these period.

When you buy a new insurance for your current bike, the NCD is ZERO. One insurance one NCD. Meaning you have 2 NCD now. It cannot be shared.
