Planning to ride in Borneo

Did this trip happen? I like to know the price and method to fly the bikes over to Borneo.

Before the virus situation, I was planning to go to Kota Kinabalu and rent a motorbike for a day trip to visit some of the attractions there... most notably the "tip of borneo". Anyone has been there before ?

i have been there before and rented a motorcycle too but just to ride around sabah and sarawak as was visiting friends and family. it is a very beautiful place and u should definitely do it when u get a chance to. you can actually cover sabah, sarawak, borneo, brunei, and many other places. a quick google search shows that there are many biking tours in KK and packages are around 2k+ usd for a 7 day trip which is very value for money.

when are you planning to go ? after circuit breaker of course.. maybe i can see u there  would love to bring my xmax there but unfortunately will be too costly.

some good youtube videos also to prepare u for what you can enjoy in borneo. they travelled 2600km around borneo!!!

Thanks for the info, but I think I'm looking more at day trips haha... cos I only got 2B licence.

How is the quality of the road from kota kinabalu town centre to the "tip of borneo" ? How long does the journey take ? I am planning to rent a motorbike from a rental agency and the bike is Honda wave 110cc
