Do we need to buy insurance to go into hatyai and if yes how much is it.

Hi guys, MFA has issued a travel advice to postpone non-essential trip to southern thailand for the time being. What r ur plans?

Good. i am also eager to know what the leader says..Whether to carry on or go for alternative destinations.

 

I think this is a singaporean camaraderie thingy during crisis in sharing views and caring for the safety of one another.

 

There is absolutely no ulterior motive which i hope i do not portray wrongly to people from the other threads..

I agree, but not sure if its too late to cancel hotel booking if its been done.

 

For us, we think the safety is more important than anything. even if we can't cancel the rooms, we will also do a fully refund to all of you guys. And i am sad to say that, 90% we will cancel the trip as there is no safety around in thailand for the moment. i had also call up my thai friend, in hatyai and phukut, they advise me better dont enter thai for the moment. Thai news was saying that 3000 bomber around and we dont know where.....

Noted your concerns. I believe the suspected 3000 militants are targeting the south provinces of thai namely, songkla, yala, pattani and narathiwat..but of cos no one is sure.
