Actually out of all the 2A sportsbikes, i think rvf has 1 of the lowest top speed. In terms of power, rvf belongs to the lower end of the spectrum. Its advantage comes in during cornering, and of course not to mention the superb handling and smooth engine. Therefore i think no point chiong top speed with you on my rvf with your zx4r, sure lose

bike power came back! woot! yay!

ah!! haha thanx thanx! your rvf feels very light compared to my cbr. feels real easy when cornering~ but i'm not used to it... ha~ i prefer my natural damper.

 

wait till i do a full servicing. then i let u try out my bike again. i'm sure you'll love it even more.

 

so happy that bike power came back. for the past few days, the power just wasn't there. don't know why man... stdudu say it's sparkplug. but somehow, prob was solved after whacking it a bit here and there. haha.

still, i have to go wash carb, tune carb, do valve clearance, change carbon starter, change front tires... etc. have not done these for 1.5yrs le.... lolx

 

hopefully i can get these done by next outing.

yeah, i agree with you man. 400cc bikes don't differ much, be it speed, pickup, etc. but it is those little differences in specifications of the bike that sets them apart, thus resulting in differences, however small it is. And it is a result of these differences that result in how comfortable the rider is with the bike. haa~

 

of course, thats my thought on my part. you guys rode big bikes man. i'm sure you ppl have tried out each others R1, CBR1000, CBR 929, Fzr1000, etc, and all other bikes to get a feel. well, u get what i mean.

 

oh, btw, where do you guys normally go to service ya bikes? i frequent Planet Motors. not bad. but would like to try other shops someday. heard that Ah Meng, formally from Sportng Motors, went over to Will Motors in Bedok Ind Park. Hows the prices like at Will Motors? Do they chop? Cause i feel Ah Meng a very careful, delicate and skilled mech. Don't know about the practices of the bike shop though... Anyone care to let me in?

paiseh, kept u guys waiting. well actually, we were more inclined towards perling oredi (we discussed earlier in the thread b4 the outing..) so, since u guys went off liao, we juz went perling ourselves la (cos by the time we catch up wif u guys, u prob ate finish liao..)
