Not to deter you from buying such items. Just sharing my thoughts. In the end, its still your money. It seems that this item works the same like ferrite cores. As I cannot find anybody that have open up the unit, it is difficult to guess what is inside. I use ferrite beads on my previous bike, and it works like what the 9Power described. The best part is, you can get it at Sim Lim Tower.

Some read up on Ferrite Beads. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrite_bead

Which floor of Sim Lim Tower? What is the size of the ferrite cores you used? How much is it? Where did you install?

If you change to high performace spark plug cable, they already have ferrite cores in them. Example http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/products/wire_sets/index.asp

how do you install the fer rite bead on your bike? and how much does it cost?

You just need to clip the ferrite beads just like the 9 power. You may need to go around in Sim Lim to check them out. They come in many sizes so get one that fits your spark plug cables nicely. The ferrite beads look like this

Thank you for sharing.

I believe 9power is a hard ferrite while those use on our electronics are soft ferrite.

I bought the ferrite cores from sim lim tower at $3 Each.

take the entrance from the main road that goes straight down to the basement.

From there, turn left all the way to the end where there are plenty of leds on display.

I did a small article here on them.
