Anyone has any tips or previous experience doing such?

 

I'm trying to stay away from the POR-15, Kreem tank kit first since they cost quite abit. Diy solution first.

 

I have rust in the upper parts of my gas tank, near the gas cap area.

 

First thing is vinegar solution.

 

soak it in overnight or for a few days?

 

the next method is to actually fill it with degreasing solution and some nuts and bolts, then shake the tank to loosen the rust.

February 2011 - March 2012 = Phantom TA 200

March 2012 - August 2013 = Suzuki Impulse 400

Present = BMW (Bus, MRT, Walk)
