Guys, you can also consider Bridgestone Battlax SC, thats a new model for maxi scooters and they have BMW C650/C600 sizes. FYI

Anyone care to share wat types of aftermarket legal pipes are there?

 

so far the akra from pml is the fastest to get approved by LTA.other brands really no idea.but i feel the termi should sound nice.

The c650 at s1, sold yesterday.. Damn fast...

 

As more ppl come to know about these BMW maxi scooters, i figure they would sell well but of course not as successful as e air-cooled GS. As the COE prices are reaching levels of insanity, the used bike markets will now flourish... Hope too see more maxi scooters on the road...

Any idea how much Termi n is it full syst? Beside these, any other brands?

Gianelli - $900 (Titanium slip-on with carbon end cap)

Leo Vince - $800 plus (Aluminium end can)

Arrow - $800 (No idea what materials are used for this one)

Termignoni - $1300 (Carbon end can)

Akrapovic - Should be in e same region as e Termignoni or slightly more if my memory serves me well

 

Among all this, I only know that e Akrapovic is LTA approved. Browse thru from page 1 and u'll find some useful information.

For my bike, PML limits 'free' COE up to 2K and 1 year road tax. Whether it's limited period or otherwise, you got to ask them...

Ended up I didn't go Taiwan, so bought the stuffs from moto world... Front slider, tranny rolling cover, side stand extender, side stand support, main stand support, middle slider and rear fender.

Maybe just to share, pml quite responsive. Went last Saturday to get my meter checked, they suspect my meter components is faulty, order the meter for me and the meter is here already. However due to all the appointment is full, I need to wait till next week to have my meter check and replaced if necessary

For my bike, PML limits 'free' COE up to 2K and 1 year road tax. Whether it's limited period or otherwise, you got to ask them...

PML support has always been excellent.... my bike has dead battery before not once but twice !! they sent a tow truck (proper ones, not those lorry) and it was FOC for me cos my bike is serviced with PML. As far as I know, even if your bike breakdown in Malaysia or Thailand, its FOC towing back to BMW for repairs.

 

Parts are not expensive too..... labours are but they are sent to BMW for training..... and they know their stuff.....

 

Only 1 guy in this thread say he had 12 years servicing with PML and parts expensive..... dunno which exotic bike....

Not too sure about the pricing.. But if you ask me to pay 800 for the meter which just went bonker is ridiculous

I thought number retention is only 6 months, for 1.3k?

 

PML will 'sponsor' up to 2K on COE, so if the bid is 4489, you pay 2489..

All have to order.. They don't have ready stock. In fact, the part numbers are not even in their system (moto world) yet...
