You can apply PDL after u pass your BTT, but must pass your RTT before booking TP test date.

If you have a class 3 license, you won't have to go for the Basic Theory lessons and the BTT. Based on CDC's process, you can do the following immediately:

- Book Riding Theory Lessons

- Book Defensive Riding Theory Lessons

- Go for Circuit Orientation

After Riding Theory Lessons done, do Internal Evaluation, once pass, book RTT.

After Circuit Orientation done, apply PDL, start doing practicals 1 to 5.

After Defensive Riding Theory Lessons done, you can move on to practicals 6 to 8 provided you have already passed practical 5.

After passing RTT and practical 8, book TP.

Revise, then TP.

An advise would be to clear your theories ASAP. dont want them to slow you down. Try to get the theory done before you reached the practical which requires you to ride outside.

Which driving ctr's roads will be less congested for smoother practical lessons?

I heard the roads around cdc are quite hectic in terms of traffic. Ssdc is pretty decent. IMO, just go to the one closest to where you live/work/study.

Wow. My 1st post.

Anyway, i started my class 2B at BBDC about early Sept. I'm a already a Class 3 holder for 13 years.

Here's my comments to help new guys onboard.

1. RTT is most important cos its the bottleneck. Even as a driver, i had difficulties in passing my RTT Trial. Only cleared on my 2nd attempt. But the problem is the long wait for the actual RTT. The closest available slot was prob 1.5 months away after my trial.

And do remember to book a practice slot just before your RTT slot. It helps a lot. Trust me.

2. Considering that i started my 1st 1.01 bike orientation on 7 Sept. Its been 2 months already and I've only cleared 1.01 > 1.02 > 1.03 > 2.01. Had difficulty clearing 2.01, passed only on 4th time.

Taking a fair bit of time cos i only can go for night slots. And you're gonna be lucky to get 1 within the same week for night slots.

To make matters worse, i get "penalise" for all the bad habits brought forth from driving 13 years already.

And yes, no doubt it can be frustrating at times. (there was one lesson which the instruction stopped me halfway through the lesson to tell me I'm good to pass ... but eventually i failed cos my toes were sticking out when turning corners .. i was like WTF). But have to admit, bike riding is kinda fun. At least so far.

Taking a 2B lic nowadays are much more difficult than before. Too many theory & practical lessons to go. But u will still make it if u have a positive mindset. Tough for once, and u get to enjoy it for life. :)

Erm... After you pass your 2A, ish 12 points or 24 points ar?

If I'm aiming for class 2, will it be 12 points all the way until 4th year? :sian:

After you pass your 2A, become 12 points again. After 1 year, 24 points. After you take your 2, become 12 points again until 1 year.

Just go for Class 2B no regrets, i enrol at SSDC early sept every practical lesson 1 to 2, some lessons 3rd time. After each lesson i straightaway book.

Now on lesson 7 circuit assessment and public road assessment.

Next is TP test booking.

Bro,

no worries in Class 2b practical lessons there is no fast or delay, always arrange your own timing and schedule for class 2b practical, whether day or night.

Some lesson different circuit area u might repeat 1, 2 or even 3rd time to clear. So depends on individual next booking and cannot wait for friends as friends might be fast.

Along the way u will meet nice instructors and new biker friends in the course practical lessons, share and grow learn together, afterall class 2B license is for life.
