Dry cell is maintenance free. Wet cell u have to top up e batt water regularly (abt 1 mth) or as n when e batt water level goes low.

Cost-wise wet cell is a little bit cheaper n it last a little bit longer (abt .5 yr).

Nobody uses wet cell nowadays cos its too damn troublesome to be always checking e batt water level.

A batt should b able to last u for 1.5-2yrs or even more if u r lucky.

gekokujyou : tq for ur advice bro :cheeky: i'll take deep consideration abt it..:thumb:

like price range of 2T and so on

by the way bros, juz tot of something...

now i still p plate

but supposedly i take out p plate le haf 24 pts to play

den i pattern until deduct 13 pts

can go take 2A?

if so after 2A hw mani points i left with?

thanks for answering this stupid qn

:cheeky:

brandon... wrong lah.

if u pattern zhuay kway badminton and accumulate more than 12pts (from any class), u will not be able to book your 2A. The tp system automatically rejects your application and u will waste all your money. The driving center won't check for you, so u'd probably think u happily smoked them until it comes to book your TP date.

if u have accumulated less than 12pts (from any class), and have passed your new licence, your probationary licence will be revoked once u cross the threshold of 13pts. in other words, consider the following scenario:

1. u pass your 2b

2. u pattern your 2b and get 8pts

3. u finish 12mths probation for 2b, now u have 16 pts to spare,

4. u pass your 2A

5. u pattern your 2b and get another 6pts

result: your total demerit points stands at 14 and your 2a is revoked.

understand?

When I reach and go over the powerband (7k RPM) of the bike, the exhaust seemed to release a lot of white smoke, but it doesn't before 7k RPM... is this normal..?

I've only tested it at the 6th gear, have yet to try the other 5 gears.

rectifier is a device located at the right side of the side fairing behind the battery...at the engine rev,it charges the battery u see...

skdigi : check our classifieds. much better than purchasing from shop.

civic eg6 : if you want power, faster pick-up, then leave it that way. if you want smooth ride, retune it. like me, i cannot stand having the bike coughing on normal roads, so i just retuned it for smoother ride. but then again, i regret losing the top end power even though it's just a little different, so it's kind of a dilemma.

genyue : when you ride the bike for awhile, exhaust fumes accumalates in the exhaust system, and when you reach the powerband, the valves of the bike opens up to allow more air intake, then the exhaust fumes will be forced out of the pipe. thus alot of smoke. if you noticed, after opening the valve and then going back to normal riding, exhaust fumes will flow out normally for awhile and then accumalate again.

a rectifier is something that recharges the battery upon revving the bike. a damaged rectifier will cut a battery's lifespan. a damaged battery will cause problems to the rectifier. notice that when you're idling, your headlights are very dim, and then you rev abit, the headlights will brighten up. it's the work of the rectifier.

bert where's ur faq? here are some sample questions you can add to it, rofl.
