er???? haha spchoo: i think i know his situation.

 

his bike shld be ok.

 

but if u change gear from 1st to 4th at rpms 2-3k rpm , even if u full throttle u also will take quite sometime for the rpm to go to 7-8k rpm. on 4th gear 2-3+k rpm is about 40-50kmph there ba. to reach 7-8k rpm is around 80kmph?.

 

maybe hes just new... he dont know that changing of gears will be better at 5k-7krpm which saves petrol,time and increased acceleration to cursing speed.

 

i guess u all ride biyclce with the gear systems b4 ma-.- if u all switch to the hardest gear (which will be 6th gear for bike) its vv hard n requires alot of strength to move off but will have a high top end, but for the lightest gear will easy to move off and vv low top end

 

hong88: when u encounter such problems. like no power drop.. a gear accelerate up and gear back up.

ah yo..got ppl change gear at so low one meh.. o.o i dun think i change gear at THAT low haha..i always hear a bit of dragging liao then i change gear one...dun know how to explain la.. i that time also same pattern ride no problem.. then dun know why liao-_- congx i go try what u say then come again.. seriously i dun think i change my riding pattern lo .. lol.. ask my fren then also ??? like this lol

is ur riding la, unless u are using a vv cheapskate petrol , ur piston is abt to jam, ur engine abt to break down anytime,

 

bcoz at speed of 40kmph-100kmph is achievable even with a non-working valve.

but since u just buy ur bike, the shop shld at least have some "warranty" for ur bike. any problem just go back to shop screw them and ask them why. do it asap if not u have to pay a heavy sum to get ur bike fix up which most of us did. :sian:

eh bro. go back to bike shop ask them to do one FULL service for you. even if that service is not covered under the warranty just go do it. ask them open up bearings and carb and piston and everything. bring someone down with u who is experienced and sit there watch them doing the bike. this way, you can make sure the bike inside is okay. esp the bearings.... alot of us had to change that part and it costs 250sgd. the thing is unless u go a full service you wun know if the inside parts are rusty or spoilt and by the time (usually 3 months after you collect the bike) u wanna do a full service your warranty over already. that time i do my full service they open the thing only i see all rust i know i hongkan already.

 

so moral of the story is do full service once you take over the bike. if they tell you they did it already recently you tell them FU*CK YOUR MOTHER JUST DO IT !!! I LACER CANNOT AH ?!?!?!?

Hey i just done up my top engine overhual. Anyone know how to run in? Like cannot pass what rpm what speed until how many click.

 

First time cannot blame :sweat:

2006-2007 - Honda Nsr sp FS 282*R ( Sold)

2007-2013 - Honda cbr 400 FM 990*R (Scrapped)

2011- Current - Suzuki Swift 1.5M

hey guys was really busy in sch haha... just wanna ask wat like of 4t u all use for ur bike? how many litres of 4t we need? heard of pirelli mt75 for tires?

run 1k. don rev above 5krpm.

 

Wat's top engine overhaul? issit jus full servicing? top part of the engine. that's only include the engine block and carb lei.

 

i only know overhaul. change all the con rod. engine bearing . take out every piece of the gear. ha.

bike shop put 4T for me.. Putoline bah.. (not the best ones though)

jusst try not to rev over 7k rpm.

 

change gear around 6k rpm can already.

 

do that for about 800km to 1000km. thats what the mechs at agl told me.

Any 4t can use. No need too exp 1 unless u have a lot of cash to spare. Since 4t on 2 stroke only run thru the gears and clutch plate not like 4stroke. around 900ml or so bah. Coz everytime put in have abit of spare hahaha. :sweat:
