hey after testing for so long, my fuel consumption is same as SPchoo's sia... so jialat ah.. y congx one can go to 280 without reserve one.. fnee say he got 3 jets one one last for 230km, 180km and so on. i am now wondering if my jet is mod? how to know ah? xinghock got jet for me to test hehe

i am using maxima chain wax.. quite gd.. pj1 from ah boy dirty my rim siao ah.. make my chain black faster...

next time you go for full servicing just ask the mech show you your main jet and air jet. main jet stock is size 152. if it is bigger then go get a 152 from FJT. FJT is at Rowell Road. the main jet is actually just a very small metal "donut" that costs 5-6 bucks.

 

I actually wash my chain at least once a month so i have no problem with dirty chains. If you take care of it properly you wun have to change it so often. but my spockets giving problem now. LOL

this is something new... haha.. FJT.. how big is big? 152 is consider normal? if smaller wat is the effect? SPchoo ur main jet and air jet is not original?

1 for 130, 1 for 180 (which i'm using) and 1 for 230.. most power is the one which gives me only 130km per tank. but it's an overkill riding on SG roads. very irritating when you get bogging twice. lol. but big doesn't mean good. it must go along with tuning and the mods you've done to your bike.

 

go xing hock ask ah pin check. simple and easy. jet may have, but a few only. haha..

chain jialat alr cannot lub all go change lor... sonner or later wear and tear must change ma.. den ride also more shiok.. haha

 

Wee Keong : do ur bike must be prepared 2 get ur hands abit dirty 1 la.. if not how.. everytime wanna lub ur chain ride to the shop ask them 2 lub ar.. haha

the problem is i don feel the power lay for my current jet.. still wondering izzit really my jet or some how i got too used to the current power feel like nothing lay. 160 before reserves is abit too little coz i pump in malaysia mah. fnee ur 130 is before reserves or with reserves? and how overkill is overkill? 0-100km/h in less then 4 seconds?

haha 0 - 100 in less den 4 like tat no need buy tua gu alr la u... think the R1 is abt 3.2 or 3.5 sec... u put nos on ur bike ar.. hahaha...

 

Bring ur bike 2 Xing Hock ask them check check lor.. den most pro u'll find the problem alr.. :cheeky:

130 before reserve. believe me, you won't want such high FC even though the power is there. i don't know the timing for 0-100. but the power is there. can ask garfield, he tried my bike recently when i changed back to the slightly smaller fuel jet. with the larger jet, the power is even more.

 

but like i said, the mods must go along with the fuel jet. no use using a large jet when you're running a stock bike.

 

and not only there will be a flat spot at 5-6k rpm (like most other SP), there will be another at 7-8k rpm. so you'll have to maintain high rev in order to feel the power. but dont' tell me you want to maintain at 7-8k rpm on expressways ah? very siong one leh. and at that kind of rpm, my pipe is making a hell lot of noise. i don't want the attention of tp and rov.

haha slize, the Fr plate is modded , fuel consumption higher, if ur friend want i let go at $1.65k dont tell other pple k :lol:

the piston pin jammed my conrod n piston.

so no choice

 

must get new ..

 

conrod set(with the bearings)

piston n piston ring n piston pin

tighten clutch housing , change clutch plate , springs.

change engine bearings.

+ mis en plus like spark plug , eo , gasket ,oil shield, blah blah

 

come up to that much loh :sian:

COngx u overhaul ur bike ytd? so much ah.... haiz my turn soon after CNY going to cost a bomb too... conrod , bearings etc....
