Guys i just bought my SP not long ago and wana go and do a full servicing at AGL. Any old birds going there pls let me know because i don't know how to go and i don't wana be a 'carrot' there...:sweat:

larrydk: clutch plate problem. is your biting point very near? have u changed ur clutch plates before? if its too hot, engine will also cut. precautionary measures i suppose?

Walao! I need to do full service because i don't trust the bikeshop when i bought my bike...my bike pickup like 'bolat bolat' lidat and stupid FC so high...haven hit reserve already eat up 160km...i wana know is my bike problem or riding techniques because previously i riding phantom

winsom: Ur bike mod before? or all original? original bolat bolat is still not so bad. mod bike that can chao normally can't last long. FC 160km quite eat fuel. maybe go tune lo.

i think not mod before...i travel expressway still ok coz can go above 100km/hr...i take small rds very irritating one...whole bike keep vibrating and not smooth...then when i increase throttle each time to around 6k rpm,to switch gear, i can see the fuel meter drop sia...heart pain...

winson: lol.. u sure u can literally see the needle drop? ur needle might be faulty in this case. open tank cap to check availability of fuel. more accurate method to determine ur fc. small roads consume more petrol fyi.

Pardon me but i duno how many times it opens because i never ride 2 strokes bike before...never tried before 8k rpm becoz ard 7k rpm my bike already going at 120km/hr. I never tried top speed because i only wana do that after full service...4-5k rpm is the most irritating...like no strength lidat and vibrate until like my bike is 'f***ing' the road...

Yeh i did open and see also and it is true lor...my sp dam hungry eat fuel maciam like buffet lidat....initially it was worse...before hit reserve only hit 140km....have to clutch in let it freewheel sometimes to able to hit 180km....haizz...

think it's ur tunning ba... maybe ur main jet size bigger or ur carb bigger...? go agl wif 1 of the old birds and do a full service lor.. dun worry la agl prices abt abt the same 1.. won't get carrot...

4-5k rpm jerky is very normal for a sp... juz pull above 5 and it's go peh pehhhhhhh......... :cheeky:

hmm.. arnd 4k to 5k rpm.. thats when the RC valve will start to open.. hmm.. isnt that too early?? my SP last time power comes in at 6k..

dunnoe how many valve actually but u can feel the kick twice when u pull.. for mine 1 is at 6k rpm and the other 1 at 9k rpm... u can reli feel it when u juz did a full service to ya bike.. :smile:

I think my valve open at 6k also because can feel the power....4-5k is the 'f**king' mode for my bike...imagine u pick up smooth frm 1-3k then suddenly 4-5k your bike 'bolat' then ard 6k then suddenly like eat steroids chiong again....

yup.. im selling my V4 liao.. downgrading to a cub to get thru my NS period..

 

cos NS time i wanna get my class 2 n class 3..

 

den after NS see how lah.. maybe CBR1000RR..

actually.. during the valve opening period.. ur bike will like jerk abit.. i experienced that too.. its prolly cause ur power valve needs to be cleared off carbon..
