haha take ur time to choose ur bike.. buy bike must not rush. slowly shop and see and choose. get a friend who knows lots about SP to go see for u. basically a general rule of thumb is that u should prepare at least $700 more than the sale price of a bike cos the OTR would be $500 more and the remaining is for u to go do up some aspects of the bike like change tyre or brakes or anything that got to do with safety and then have some $ left to eat as well!!

u probably spend up to 3k for the bike incl. insurance and txf fee... the remaining is for u to do up the bike... and have $ to pump, eat and go out! the insurance alone 300-400 ++ lor....

forgot to add its for 3party w/o fire/theft. depending on ur age, 3P w/FT could go to the 500-600 range. yep!

no la. if let say the bike is 2.6k, then u want 3P w/o FT then will be 300-400 depending on which company. for me, my ins is from mitsui $309.75 for 3P w/o FT but i over 21 le. with FT will be 200-300 more lor but give u peace of mind. wont be up to 4k la. unless u bought one ready-to-scrap piece of junk and then rebuild it from scratch. maybe might hit 4k. but wats the point of buying a super cheap bike then must do so much servicing might as well pay abit more get a good and no problem one then save the time u need to do servicing rite?

 

took mine in cdc... the bikes there are like so crap.. haha...

haha who cares. like i mean there are some bike going at 1600-1800 but i go and see the bike, i was like: "WHOA. u mean this thing can actually still move" that kind of thing u know. then if u factor in the repair and touch up cost it actually come close to 2800. not to say all the cheap bikes are no good la. but if u find one higher but reasonable price then fair enough to go buy lor. u get wat i mean?
