Hi those bros riding this bike, what's the top speed? I know this bikes aren't meant for speed but I like to ccruise comfortably at 90-100 without stressing the engine. Torn between ybr125 and cb125

Laugh best!!!Ahahahahaha

I've seen it in white. Very nice. looks like super four or hornet from side view. Slightly bigger than YBR. I think its more stable? I dunno where's it made. Thailand? I am currently riding a Ybr125. Everything about the bike is cheap and relatively good and balanced. Its cheapest bike with 11 litre fuel tank le. Cheapest to insure also. What is your budget? Do you do your own servicing?

Hi Limhg,to me budget for either these 2 bikes no prob. Only dun wanna regret getting the wrong one...

From what I observe the differences are:

Honda cb125e

-choke at handle bar

-no tachometer

-passenger grab rail cum rack looks solid

Yamaha ybr125

-got kick starter

-looks physically bigger

Can advise the top speed for your ybr?thank you

Ybr125 stock top speed is 120km/h. Without boxes and crouching in a aero position. I think CB125e is physically bigger..

Oh ya. The new YBR125s does not come with racks anymore and I think the bike got bigger abit. Mine is the old model.

I think the CB125e is a good choice. just mount a tachometer and it'll be perfect. The exhaust looks big and solid with the nice chrome. I think rear rack is good. can mount any kind of boxes without paying for another mounting.

Ybr doesnt come with oil filter. The weak point of YBR is the magneto coil and the rectifier. If you overload the bike's electronics will spoil easily. Eg. using 55w headlight bulb. The kickstarter comes in handy when your battery fails.

YBRs are tested and proven by dispatch companies, LTA, Cisco, Carpark authorities in singapore. It only means it is cheap to buy, maintain, insure and relatively reliable.

But the CB125E looks good. I dunno if it's carb or EFI. I think the quality is better than the YBR.

If I were you I'll go for the honda. It just looks more solid.
