Kena caught exhaust pipe no silencer by LTA

Hi, 

just kena caught by LTA last week due to exhaust pipe no silencer as my silencer clip broke, so i told that to the LTA and took it out so my silencer wont drop or something. And i also was otw home from workshop cause just collected my bike from doing overhaul . Then suey kena caught. Ive got all the evidence and the receipt to prove that my bike just collected on that day and Now already been almost 2 weeks this week and i check AXS machine got no fines . Usually they say take around 2 weeks to get letter but still havent get. They ask me go inspection also the next day after i kena caught . And i went and all was good and i passed , so...

i need advice please help and if i were to get fined, can i appeal and waive off the fines? What are your thoughts?

Hi bro @Haziqt, that's pretty unlucky!

Positive point is 2 weeks has passed and no fine, so hopefully it stays that way.

If the fine really comes, just send back the letter as proof that you have passed inspection the very next day. Also, you can write appeal that the silencer has dropped off.

No one can guarantee you that they'll waive off the fine, but better to try than nothing.

P.S. Which exhaust are you running? I assume the exhaust is APPROVED when used with the silencer?
