Change of starter motor for Xmax300

Anyone know how much does a starter motor change for xmax300 cost? 

Went to tune In motor and found that they are doing rip off

Does it really cost a lot for starter motor which don’t involve any major removal

Luckily the Xmax 300 is made in Indonesia. So parts will be affordable.

if you can wait a few weeks, you can get the motor for approx 100$. Instant stock maybe around 180$++. Installation is a separate issue, you’ll have to look around for that.

Some shops tend to charge more, as without a starter motor your bike can’t start… but if you wanna save up. You can purchase the mechanic repair manual for Xmax 300 for about 100$ and then do the repair yourself. Should be manageable as it’s a few screws and doesn’t require the opening of the engine.
