I'm just sharing several hear say experience here so that other new riders/ P-plate riders would not become a carrot to the "black horse" workshops.

1) If you have an accident, do not blindly push your workshop into shops that you do not experience its service before. Go back to your own workshop or seek help here or ask your friends.

2) Know the parts of your motorcycle to prevent being chopped, I have one friend who went to a random shop to check on the gear as she can't change gear after a drop.. Imagine the bike shop say, your "gear selector" in your engine is spoilt, pointing to the clutch/EO area.  (first thoughts is gear shifter bended in, very common in drop or self skid, just need the correct tools to push/pull out, and I'm right upon viewing the bike)

3) Any Mech ask you to "open engine" when your bike still can start, is a Alert/yellow sign. (personal experience more then 14 years ago, 2 stroke, mechanical valve system jam, was told my valve bearing jam, need to change the bearings, need to down engine, estimated cost 500-1k, told me to leave my bike and collect next day, I say i need the bike for my errands, which i successful ride off, went back to my workshop, $50 for wash the valve system, it was a Sunday & my workshop didn't open and I didn't know what happen on the bike as I'm still a P plate.)

4)  When a bike shop can't even put a top box back properly and say the catch is spoilt, and you just taken it out less then 1 hour ago. (General stuff also cmi, still wan to open engine or help you do other stuff? need to reconsider)

Caution / Yellow signs  (as usual, only your trusted workshop)

1) Leave bike, we will check for you.

2) Need to open engine and see.

3) You leave bike with us, come back 2 days later then settle already.

Reasons for raising this, I have heard of people mentioning that they leave bike, they will often have 4 digits bill and you wun even know if they dismantled your bikes, if they did, you are good, if they didn't.. no comments already.

2 days later 2k bill (2B), but of cuz, they did call him and check if he want to proceed or not, if dun wan to proceed 200-300 labour fees. (got send photo evidence to owner)

Another of my friend (class 2), i dunno if it's good or bad, leave bike for 3-4 months, final bill about 5k. engine teared part, say no stocks, order stocks from main factory.  (got send photo evidence to owner) Owner went down to check from time to time also but to find his bike laying there with all the parts outside..

Lastly, i'm a very very caution person, I personally, NEVER EVER  leave my bike with mech, even my trustworthy ones.. hahaha.. i wan to see/learn/know, what parts and what function they provide to our own bikes, this is the way to prevent yourself from being a carrot.. :)😛

Kindly read thru at least the intro section first before decide to post any comments.... thanks...

Please proceed to this website/web link if you guys have any technical issues on Kawasaki Kips/KR150, I'll update the 1st POST as and when there's a new question. Newbies questions on the top as well. :)
