hi,if its offered by tp on a reduce fine means a lesser charge on offence and theres no d-points.just the fine only

Here's an overdue update!

Weird, didn't get any compensation or extension for reduced traffic offence if mp intercept the notice of traffic offence. Nvm ah suck thumb. Below is timeline of the letters I received.

1 - Letter stating traffic offence (To furnish details etc, received letter end of nov)
2 - Reduced traffic offence (Payment due on 17 Dec, received letter starting of dec)
3 - Received acknowledgment letter from mp and was asked to ignore the traffic offence (Received letter on 16 Dec)
4 - MP rejected appeal, awaiting for "fresh" offence as stated on the letter (Received letter on 20 Dec)

Lesson learnt, when offered reduced traffic offence, pay that as soon as possible :')

waaaa....so you appealed a "reduced" traffic offence offered by TP and got rejected.. Now they reverting back to "normal priced"??

1st question - your first offence in your lifetime?

2nd question - got any points for this offence?

3rd question - what's the reduced compared to the original offence?

Yup its my first offence hence they give me reduced traffic offence. I wanted to appeal bc I avoided an accident when a car all of a sudden went into my lane, I horned of course. When the fella goes back to his own lane, by then I passed the junction. I don't mind the points, just that to me I avoided an accident and I have to pay a heavy fine for it? Suck thumb, Singapore is a fine city anyways ><

ahhh.. this happen just before a red light camera junction... 

did the car run pass the red light as well? if yes, then you have some kind of proof.. if dun have.. that means you accelerate to avoid an accident.. 

either ways, time to install a camera just in case so that you have proof of what exactly happen.. I also retrieve my camera footage when I tot I gotten capture by a speed camera.. LOL.. But luckily not me.. it's the car behind..
