Motorcycle accident. Advice needed

Hey Fellow bikers, i recently got into a road accident with a car banging me. The issue with it is that I am not entirely sure if its my fault or his. 

I changed lane into filter lane and out of no where i got hit from behind. I swear to God the car behind was the one that hit me and I didn't hit him. The issue is i can't remember if I was already FULLY in the lane already or i was like 3/4 in the lane when he hit me. His damage was to the corner of his right bumper and not in the middle. I swear did not cut him from behind and I dont think I swerved in the lane.  I do not have cam footage unfortunately but he has. I swear i wasnt going more than like maybe 20 km/h as it's a filter lane and i had to slow down to check for pedestrians. After the hit, my pillion and my bike literally flew.. it was soo hard that my bike landed several meters forward on the pavement beside the pedestrian crossing instead of the road. good grief no pedestrians at that time. 

I have done up insurance and police report and I am afraid that i might lose this case. i know many people say if he hit u from behind he confirm more wrong than u. but i really dunno about this!!!!

What do you guys think? I get sooo anxious about this kinds of things..  Advice needed thank youuuu..

while waiting for others who do to comment ... i have a question ...
were you lane-splitting before you entered the filter lane ?

@apogeeXX no i wasnt lane splitting before i entered the filter lane. i was from one lane and changed to the filter lane.

eh .. nobody replied yet ... ?

but from your description, if he is hitting you from behind, i don't see how you can be the one hitting him instead ...
unless you have reverse gear 
or you u-turned and whack him head-on ...

even if you have not fully changed into the lane, i think it is still responsibility of the car behind to look out and not hit you.
unless you abruptly change lane into filter lane ?

it sounds more like the car was speeding into the filter lane and couldn't stop in time, .... perhaps on the phone and wasn't paying attention on the road ....
and that's how you got whacked and landed further onto the crossing. How do you hit a car when you are in front and he is behind ? i cannot imagine ...
it feels like he is trying to scare you ...
did you take any photos of both your vehicles after the accident ?

Agreed..

if u already in the lane and stop while waiting or going to stop.. kanna hit by behind.. confirm behind wrong.. even if he got cam.. he will review it and say his memory card full or camera spoilt cuz he will see it’s his own fault..

 

they will only say the camera is working when the footage benefits them.. isn’t it?

 

and seriously.. no camera on bikes? It’s a must nowadays.. Shopee got those $50 one.. just get one and self install.. otherwise get those cheap helmet camera.. I think also about $50.. no camera for bikes is dangerous..
