thanks guys for the recommendation, i will to get my hands on these 2 brand, maybe try mobil 1st haha, motul seems lik the Atas oil  i did saw a mobil 2t from a shop at balastier rd,but is not the gold cap and cost 9 dollar.

Yup i think ur right on that, cos i altho my bike in under shelter carpark but its still pretty much exposed to the rain, mostly i have to choke start my bike before riding, after some read up i think i may have flooded my carb, shall try turnin off the fuel tap, to prevent overflow into carb.

:btw: Mica or Rijac, these 2 days i notice that my bike idle at neutral gear, will have a loud engine knocking sound (was told by a spark frend), something like, tom...tom...tom..TOM..tom...tom...tom...TOM~ quite audible loud, i wonder is that a characteristic for sp or 2t bike in general? another friend riding sp has the same knocking, but aint sure whether its the same as depicted. Sry to have hijacked the thread :sorry:

I get them from petrol station because it is more convenient for me. Go Facebook and search for the seller Iride Singapore. Their 2T selling at a much cheaper price includes Mobil 1 gold cap and some of the sp guys on FB purchase from them before too.

Try to park under shelter ba since it is rainy season now. Or use a waterproof canvas if you really have to leave it out in the open for prolong period.

Knocking sound on SP is most probably normal - that's your piston moving. Some SP are softer, some are louder. Have you brought the bike to the workshop to do your servicing?

They will diagnose for you if they hear anything irregular.

Follow your heart even if sometimes it means losing your mind.

Wow thx, their prices is really good. Yep bike now is park at my mscp, well just that the more visible parking spot is more exposed to rain haha.

Yet to go down to any workshop, cos the previous owner top up gas, change eo, lube chain for me and i also have not been riding much, trying to avoid riding under rain first haha.

Hmm, today went to start up my bike, and did some rev and let it idle couple of mins, the knocking isnt that audible after that, maybe the piston needed more 2t to lube, prob my sp is just loud lol.

u are progressing pretty fast, hmm yea school bike the gear 1-2 u ned to kick alittle hard, avoid that particular bike no. if u can, if u really stuck on neutral, just clutch in and kick hard.

Now can take pract before clearing btt?

Wah. Lube chain not really part of servicing. It's a standard maintenance you have to do yourself. If you just bought the bike it's better to bring it to the shop to check n do servicing unless you know and trust the owner. Change eo plus spark plug only about $20+ to $30. Who knows the owner never change EO and it's all black alr haha.

Any of you have any advise on how to prevent my right foot from dropping?

I take it to mean that your bike tips to the right when you come to a stop?? If so, it usually means that youre coming to a stop too abruptly. Be gentler on the brakes esp the front brake. Dont grab at the front brake, but gently pull the lever in & slowly increase pressure. Use more rear brake if this is happening during short distance braking.

Mica & Ahxian,

The EO youre discussing abt is actually the gearbox oil. There is no EO as such for a 2T bike. Eo only for 4T bikes/engines. The 2T oil from your 2T tank will mix with the petrol in the carb, & that mixture will lubricate the cylinder & crankshaft when sucked in during induction. But it doesnt lubricate the gearbox. So separate oil for that one. In a 4T engine, the oil poured into the engine/crankcase will lubricate both the cylinder & gearbox.

Changing gearbox oil can also be DIY, if you want to save some $$. A bit messy only.

2 pracs per week. Passed 2 pracs past 2 weeks..

I registered in 2011 to take up 2b but quit at first lesson. I distinctly remember I have btt. So I told them I have btt. But after I complete all theory and book rtt. They call me say system don't have my btt in the system. So I had to retake btt.

Then I already apply pdl, she say just continue your practical lo.... I progress fast also no use now. :( btt in February. Then rtt another 2 months. Then to 2 months :'(

Haha im giving him the benifit of doubt(my gear can shift easy),but yeah i think i better go let them check down soon if not later kaboom while riding lol. hmm maybe a new spark plug would help me kick start bike easier hehe. All these diy maintenance i had no idea till these couple of days hhaa @.@ jialat lor sobx.Whoever said in sch u learn to ride, outside u learn to maintain ur bike, it so true.

still got 1 more way, when coming to an slow stop, turn the handlebar to the right, lean ur body left, and ur body momentum will do the rest, planting ur left feet down.It save my butt couple of times haha ,cos im quite short too.

But do not use when doin ebrake, this is a copyright method btw from some1 in this thread forgot is by whom lol.

Ouch sad for u man, maybe its was too long ago, hearsay they flush all the past record for those drop out. But does this means that u ned to do internal evalution(IE) ->btt, IE-> RTT, that would be damn long ar. i rememeber it took me whole 8 mth from, booking btt as private, to 2b lisc, feb to oct. Try to camp for earlier dates lor(make use of the cancellation, and 6 dollar) haha, RTT/BTT might have, u can go all the way to pract 7 learn all there is needed to first i guess, because pract 8 is a mock tp test, u can afford to stop awhile, waiting for the rtt to catch up. OR stop after pract 8,but it would sux if u have a tp date but u cant book becos of rtt.

Waiting for btt ie this Thursday.. Don't know why I can book when I haven't go for theory 1. Rtt ie I already went. Lol

My practicals I really in dilemma. Don't know whether to clear or not. Clear and wait for tp Sure rusty.. Don't clear first then scared later cannot clear. Lol

And using the tilt right handle bar to prevent right foot down is incorrect posture. Haha.. But I just do nonetheless

Wonder if they would close one eye. Let me book both btt and rtt together. Haha

ohhh, u can try since its their system cock up haha, well sure u'll be rusty before tp, it more of how much ur body can remember after the break i almost crash on the first rev lol,and stop @ pract 7 is not bad, once u clear that u can book road rev as well, but if u still uncertain then stop after pract 4 aleast, cos u will be stuck at pract without any circuit rev to giv u an refresher, just my 2 cent worth :D

well, if u drop right leg u get IF, posture is 2 point, might be wobble 4pt, just quickly turn handlebar back haha, and if u small size guy like me droppin bike will be even more malu. lol btw when u queue up for ebrake, that spot is uneven ground, haha that is spot i always have to do it. Take ur chances than getting an IF.

Hi everyone. I'm currently waiting for prac 6 and noticed the slots are quite spaced out. Had problems with prac 2 so not sure how this is going to work out lol...

Hi all, i've got a question about the RTT. I've taken the basic theory test years back, so i was wondering currently if the RTT consist of basic as well, or there is a separate TP test for basic and RTT and the RTT questions will be similar to the e-trails.

Posted

My only real problem is gear change i guess. Also my neutral problem is because i never kick up to gear 2 hard enough.. Nothing to do with accelerating right??

If you have BTT . Go circuit training -> apply PDL -> start practicals

and go for rtt theory and drt theory..

hey there i took 3 attempt :X, and actually pract 6 is rather easy to camp for  since u noe only mon-fri nite has pract6, u just have to log in and check at 830pm/1030pm well after every session timing, some peeps will just drop once they clear.

hmm dun quite get wad u meant, but if BTT and RTT is seperate, yes 2 diff theory test(RTT is just additional motorcycle questions(~20%?) added to BTT), and yes the qns is similar to e-trial, go 1 or 2 etrial, and u prob memorised the ans.

On better bikes I rev to ~5k before shifting up.

Currently my 2 slots are almost 2 weeks apart. Come back rusty already haha.

hmm either ur not throttling enuf, or the gear box isnt well maintained, which u have to kick harder to engage gear 2.
