Zen'ness is one of the keys to biking. Go for pracs, enjoy the lessons, don't give a damn about passing or failing, don't care about whether u are faster or slower than others.

 

The more you're able to do that, the more likely you are to pass. Attend each lesson prepared to fail but hoping to pass.

 

After you pass, the real test begins. The struggle to survive shifty drivers and our lousy roads.

Haha bro! doesnt matter how fast or how slow you go. Most importantly you must reach that goal of yours and NEVER give up !

me at the other end of the spectrum, cheapo and believer of quantity over quality, so probably a few cheap ones across a few types like sports bike, scooter, cruiser to try try first and then unload as preference forms but all this talk is useless unless I pass man!

some cheapo bike can drag over some expensive bike. haha!. you want a modern looking bikes, u might need to spend abit more. if you wanna save money, getting uncle looking bike eg, cbf,ybr,pulsar or etc. if you willing to spend abit more, find 2 stroker. the raw power is WOW. =D

 

if you really can spend, raw power + modern looking.. only 1 answer for you.

Not too late luh. Maybbe too late is because they can't share pointer in cdc for cr. Lols. All haven drop p plate yet. Including myself. Hahha.

I've personally known a guy that failed his sixth try for prac 1.

 

How about you tell us which part of the prac did you fail or whatever that you're unsure of.

 

For myself I think that confidence plays a huge role, my first attempt, I don't even know how to unmount the bike from the mainstand, as you go through more lesson, you'll be more confident and you know what you're doing, not like some headless fly, and that's when you'll pass.

I got myself a vespa =) totally different feeling from school bike. After Riding for a month, you will just get used to it and especially for a vespa, it will teach you to ride safely.

Biking is like walking. Some learn faster, some learn slower, but at the end of the day, every able-bodied learner who keeps trying will get it. At 2 years old, I still wasn't stable when walking. My biking progress was slow as well.

 

But hey I didn't give up, and now everyday is a blast! Don't give up. If mica can do it, so can u!

I have fell on almost every possible location and on every impossible spots.. But thankfully, nothing dramatic on e brake, yet to fall at e brake. *choy* Only had a scare when I had one tyre over the bumpy after I fishtailed, didn't close my throttle and it took me over the bumpy and I finally came to a stop. Lol.
