Hi all, I am purchasing a Honda X-ADV, and am looking to add the smart top box and pannier cases.

Looking at the Honda website, it says that for the pannier cases, they will need the cylinder lock (wave type key).

As the X-ADV itself does not come with the physical key, what will I "key" the lock cylinders to?

The physical key thay comes with the smart top box is of the type I attached

Your help is appreciated!

waaaa.. technology has evolved sooo much already.. I see the top box is by sensor your key's internal sensor, the pannier is by the 1 key system, if it's using that normal key and the x-adv now is keyless, you might need to get a key just for your pannier.. maybe just get a 3rd party pannier? would it be cheaper if you getting just a 3rd party pannier or will Honda (Boon Siew) be able to provide a key for these panniers? I would suggest to check with the seller for the Panniers and Top box and see what would be the best way.. most likely, they will give you a key that can open both the pannier and the top box?

Kindly read thru at least the intro section first before decide to post any comments.... thanks...
