Hi everyone! I'm curious as to what riders in SG wear to protect themselves on the road. I'm personally looking for one but have little knowledge about it. Especially in SG where the weather is a big factor.

So yes, do share! Even if it's bought online or stuff like that. (:

RSJ257 Mesh Jacket bought from Motoworld. Wore it home the moment I left the shop. I just have to say one thing, once you move, the ventilation/airflow is AWESOME! Try it to know! Had a low-speed fall, abit scuffed up but still looks good. Holds together well, works well!

Ahh I see. How much did you get it for?

By the way, for those who have not heard of motosport.com, you guys should check it out. Motorcycle accessories galore! Just afraid to buy from there because of sizing and stuff. Heard the shipping is reliable as well!

I'm wearing a Komine JK-027 mesh jacket that I bought from Motoworld for around $160 after discounts. The jacket comes with CE-rated internal shoulder, elbow and chest armor, plus a soft back pad. The chest armor is notable because most lower-priced jackets don't even have the compartments for them. The ventilation is great once you move faster than 30km/h. On the NSH it is absolutely awesome and even feels chilly in the pre-dawn hours.

Another point is the sizing and cutting. The jacket is Asian-sized, meaning the S is actually small, unlike American brands. The cutting is also "V" shaped, with a slim waist. It's very fitting for athletic builds, but not good for those with heavier mid-sections. Make sure you try before you buy.
