Spray Painting

Hi Guy,

 

I want to DIY spray myself, in msia i got a 2.5HP spray gun.. So..Before i start spraying what should i do? Sand? My parts mostly is plastic. Really want to DIY and try it myself. Thanks a million!

lacquer-optional,some uses them

sand paper,at least 2 diff grade.

newspaper?

 

clean the surface 1st-clear away dust etc,then wipe it dry.

theres a base coat,forget the name.but optional too

You might want to check youtube. Some are good

You can do it if your sure on the color as you will get a better finish. Use Krylon or even get the paint they use on engine blocks and headers.

If you like matt finishing, go for plasti dip. Need not to sand, make sure is oil and solvent free
