Our '01-'05 FZ1 windshield has been so successful, we decided to go all out for the new 2006 FZ1. Instead of just slapping on a taller and wider windshield whose shape, curve and angle was dictated by the stock fairing (by the way all wrong), we took a "clean sheet" approach. Using our 30+ years of motorcycle fairing and windshield design, we set about to mount the ideal curve, shape and angled windshield to the the FZ1. To do this we created a separate Air Balance adapter base to mate the ideal windshield to the stock fairing. Our Air Balance base has a molded in vent, that lets a larger, controlled amount of air behind the shield to eliminate back pressure. The Air Balance base also provided a platform that allows for a deeper and perfectly curved windshield to be mounted. Third, our exclusive Air Balance base allowed our shield to be mounted at the perfect angle.

The Rifle Windshield System for the 2006 FZ1 averages 8" wider than stock and comes in three heights (10", 12" and 14" over the stock windshield). Custom heights are available. Made of Lucite® L for better optics, scratch resistance and stiffness.

Specs

Windshield: Made of 3/16" optically clear Lucite® acrylic, with polished beveled edges. Clear or tinted.

Base: Black texture ABS base with molded-in Air Balance™ vent.

Height: 24", 26", 28" (10", 12" or 14" over stock).

Width: 19", 8" wider than stock.
