people here, especially the moderating team do not like frazers.

I also suggest you change bike rather then complain about the high cost of the clutch cable.

get a car. got car also can join moderating team in bike forum one. very solid.

compare S4 to Frazer not apple to apple comparison. Ask for pricing of cable for R1.

today wanted to get a spare clutch cable and was quoted by the shop $42. kinda shocked leh.. can any fellow fazer riders verify the price of the clutch cable??? is it really $42 per cable??

bro

for your info if you plan to change the cable on your own during trips

you hav to lift the fuel tank and remove the air box plus battery compartment so to access the cable :giddy:

otherwise you hav to feel your way through the frame and wires and I can say is not easy (I hav try and fail in the end did the troublesome long way  ) anyway Good Luck

ps: oops forgot to mention the above is for 2004 FZ6 onwards

now I just keep the vespa innner cable to use as spare for trips

and it works perfectly

tis one i tell you now, believe me or not up to you cause i tell the true, and when you tell the true, soon they will rubber band my mouth to shud my mouth

Hi, wat does mpui stands for? Is it really they would find trouble with fazer riders? I don want in the end of the day wen i bought the bike, the mpui would vandalise the bike or create trouble on the road if we happen to ride side by side... Need more info... Thanks...

There's nothing wrong with Fazer, just something wrong with a lot of the forumers. Buy it if you like it. Its a great bike in my opinion~!

Do u travel up north often ? If not 600 is enuff .

Anyway , no matter 600 or 1000cc u choose , wait for the 07 models .

the 07 ones are said to be better in terms of their mid range as yamaha actually did some tuning to smooth out the problem for both fz1 n fz6. but the 06 one will be a bargain once the 07 ones are in..

ya both my kim jio and who am i bros said are correct, some ppl when they see you outside they'l jus complain tat u blow yr pipe off, make noise, ya ya papaya, smoke anywhere, butts throw anywhere, jus be careful dont get spotted by them when u riding a frazar

Really? They would find trouble with fazer riders although the fazer riders doesnt mean any harm? how to determine whether the rider blow their pipe? Do those ppl with big bikes really show off? Do ppl really hate big bike riders just becoz they riding the big bike and having fun while the rest dont... is that why they jealous of them? i dont want to fall in that category... I just wan to feel the excitement of riding a big bike and enjoy it... not to look for trouble...

yes but you better get more as you know the vespa is much thinner but it should last you for quite some time.

best is that it is easy to store
