shop in amk

went to this shop at amk ave10 industrial park 1 to change my piston~ coz i have to book in and i've dont have enough time to go find my usual mechanic so i left my bike there~ but after changing, i went to visit my usual mech doing my servicing~ to my horror, the piston is still the old piston, i guess the shop in amk only polish or used another 2nd hand piston to fit my bike~ worse they charge me 300 for it! ridiculous! the bike shop name starts with N ends with H u guys who do servicing at amk go guess urself~

The boss/shop is famous for chopping... The last time I visited the shop was like 9 yrs ago, until now still the same...

Complain to CASE... I know the shop oso.. It's Na* h*a right..

whatever things you change. ask them to keep back the old stuffs.

at least you know that higher chance that the things are change/re-placed.

 

for me, even the O-ring i ask them to keep, I have told them if the old part missing, i not gonna paid them a single cent even they claim they have change.

 

and its will be wise that you stay there and see them change. if they miss a screw or nut, you know on the spot and ask them to replace you a new screw or nut.

 

always go to the workshop that you trust.

go confront them see wat they say lor .. if nt u actually got nthing else u can do le ... cau they can make alot of excuses as u are nt ard ..

cant go to case also....dun ve a receipts n they dun ve a standart lested charging price.

Hmm.. Cant go to CASE, But they surely got receipt stating of what u do mah... Go to the shop, Bluff them u just bought the bike, dan ask them for the receipt STATING what they have change so that u can claim from ur bike shop lor.. But i went there b4, I noe they got keep receipt one.. COMFIRM have unless they didnt change the parts..

Actually they do.. But if u ask them for one.. I dunno if they keep track of servicing that they done anot, But i remember seeing them writing into a book the other when i only bought a horn..

if you would go around different bike shop. u will noe who are the ones who will anyhow open prices. asking you to change things tat are not necessary.grossly over pricing their services and parts.

 

but if a shop charge a bottle of oil at 15 dollars another shop charge at 18 dollars.i dun define dis as chop.some shop will charge slightly more ex. its the consumer who will decide to accept the price or not.Frankly, they are more honest shop than dishonest ones IMHO.

I was wondering, y do u 1 2 change ur piston? cause normally ppl only change it when piston jam. so if piston jam already don't think can use back rite. n if the piston is in the engine block, how can u tell it is reused? do ur mech take out the engine block to do normal servicing?

 

don't get pissed off ok. not from there. Just curious only.

i went there told them bout my bike prob, they tell me piston gone already so need to change... but after going back to my regular mechanic.. they open my block to my horror... its a OLD piston... so my mechanic told me its either the used back my old piston OR change another OLD piston in...
