yeah soft spot of coz have haha....but again it's about spending money leh

although most paneristi prefer the historic series which are manual winding models......i tend to prefer the comtemporary line...which are autos...

some fav are the 104, 164, 24, 25 (both sub), 90 (power reserve) and 88 (gmt)...the rotor wobble is quite fun to experience...

pams are still quite highly sought after and most dealers have no stock...(except for gold and 40mm models)....n they rarely give discount....the watches practically trickle in piece by piece....

every year their output is about 35,000 watches.....not enough to satisfy the worldwide demand....compared to about 1,000,000 watches that rolex make annually...

i know passions has one 104 selling at a good price........see how lah........if there's a good catch, then i'll take it.....

Not there? Too ex. Got direct from Russia @russiansouvenirs Frank Spar. Cheaper that way. Still incomplete cos got one more in the series. No more stock. Why Poljot only make 999 pieces of each watch or the entire series??

Actually i order all 4 watches but i received two of the same watch. So i sell one to a friend. Tell you what that it is cheaper by half to get direct. Minus point warranty issue. Got to ship back there.

skydude> Passions has the Oris Ralf Schumacher Chronograph at a great bargain.

I don't have watch winder. I use to manually wound them daily but it becoming too much chores so i stop. I store all in a display box. Now i wound them if i want to use only. Still waiting for my ORSA Sea Angler.

Glycine disadvantage is that the glass is mineral. Hamilton quality is better for me and the glass is sapphire. I used to own a Incusore but sold off due to this reason.

Maybe one day i'll get a Rolex. I like the GMT Master II. That will be my only watch then.

actually mineral crystal = glass, still tougher than acrylic.......i think quite alright lah....my hamilton oso has mineral crystal, only their more expensive models use sapphire ....

acrylic, mineral or sapphire dun really make or break a watch's appeal.....

glycine's designs are quite nice.......the combat range has a the military theme that i like.....

the gmt 2 is a classic, whether in black, black/red or pepsi bezel.......hope u get ur dream watch soon....which one u prefer..?

I prefer the all black GMT Master II. Only time will tell.

I hope there will be another watch revolution like the 1970s which cripple mechanical timepieces by the introduction of quartz watches (maybe eco drive can thrive!). Then i'll channel all my resources to buy as many mechanical watches and keep them. Then i wait for mechanical watches to stage a comeback and I can sell them and make a killing.:offtopic:
