hi guys, basically im having a problem here with some sqeaking sound coming from the front of my sp. but the sqeaking sound can onli be heard when i open throttle, but when the bike is moving without throttlling there is no sound. And also the part to adjust the tightness of the chain is also totally damaged and was wondering whether any of u guys can tel me the how much it would roughly cost to change that whole part. and also my consumption of petrol is 180km before hitting reserve. i ride very normally not the racer kind lol. so also wanna know if the consumption is normal. if it is'nt den can it be adjusted ?Would really appreciate any help at all... one more thing i 4got, after i finish paying all my installments for my bike at the bike shop den what do i need to take from the bike shop or wat should i expect to be getting...e.g documents?

I'm not sure about the prices. You can ask the fellow riders in the sp thread, mabbe they will know. I'm not sure about your squeaking as the description sounds vague. Do note that though you may think that the sound comes from the front it might actually be from the back and vice versa. you might want to let some other bros take a look to determine the problem.

 

As for consumption i can tell you yours is below average. i used to ride one and mine had no problem clocking 240km before reserve.

 

Installment wise most important thing to take back is the log card.(although it might not be applicable anymore since LTA started using printable ones. Anyway a black and white statement saying you have fully paid for the bike would be gd.

u might juz wanna drop by to a bikeshop for the mech to check ur bike.. normally they won't charge u for consulting them.. better go to a reputable shop.. otherwise.. i dunno wat will happen..

icic.. for the fuel consumption is it possible for it to b adjusted by mechanic?

my sp used 2 clock tis mileage oso leh. below avg? i asked my fren de, his oso, so i assumed tat, tat is e avg mileage. n yes, sound u tink comes frm e front might b frm e bak, mayb consider going planet n consult.

ya..sometimes i have also.suspect is the suspension.
