default (stock) front sprocket is 14 teeth.

 

rolling-down means press n hold clutch lever to disengage the clutch n let the bike roll-on without apply brakes yet.

if it is able to roll-on freely, slowly apply brakes n release to check whether the brakes r working or not.

some didn't know brakes' piston r jam n riding with jammed brakes will wasting fuel, wearing brake pads/disc n stressing the chain, sprockets, engine.

 

Hi,

I try going to a non-cka shop yesterday, i told them i need to change to lower teeth spocket.. they replied that my bike is a 4T bike, changing to a lower teeth spocket will do my bike no good as it will have got no power.

 

They do not even want to look at my bike and get me to go back to cka.. feel so bad If cka is on good terms with me, i would have to go to them

 

btw, i got no problem with rolling down freely .. yep, the brake should be working fine, i find that the front brake is more powerful than the rear one, should that be the case?

apparently tat shop mech knows nothing.

u r lucky they don't want to touch your bike.

don't feel bad, should be happier since not tended by goondo mech.

 

example:

ride any >10 speeds bicycle n change gears,

u find tat a smaller size front sprocket is easier to paddle.

changing rear sprocket to smaller size take more effort to paddle.

 

it's same on bike, a small front sprocket will take less power to drive.

reverse effects on the rear, a smaller rear sprocket will require more power.

 

why r u still reluctant to visit CKA-HQ??

roy is a nice guy, if u r nice to him.

CKA-HQ is in kaki bukit, not far from tampines.

they r open monday to saturday 10am to 6 pm.

 

i am reluctant to visit CKA-HQ because they make me have bad impression of them.. changing a part for me, after that saying havent incl. of gst, so need to pay for gst.. which make up to this amt.. (this happen to toh guan outlet)

 

unless i can go with any of you guys who is knowledgable of this bike so at least i know what they quote and what they change can be advised.

 

now i trust other bike shops more than i trust my agent, which is why im putting this bike on sale ... if not i will carry on riding..

hmm.. look out for ? if you are not really a technical person, you can only physically look @ it..

 

maybe test it out ? some people hate the vibration alot.. see can you take the vibration or not ?

 

apart from testing the performance, and physically look @ it, you can not tell much..

unless u bring our Mr. Stsoh go with you..

I'm selling this bike off because the impression of the agent is bad..

 

apart from that, im fine with this bike...

 

It hasnt fail much except a few times, when my tank is out of petrol i still continue to rides it

wow..e roadwin family is grOwing..

 

well..been riding roadwin almost 2 yrs liao..

till now, i still like e bike veri much..

it didnt caused mi ani problem @ all..

i hv another fren riding roadwin for 3yrs++.. a problemfree bike frOm him aso..

i muz say it a reliable & stable bike..

 

can see mani ppl interested in roadwin & make enquires in here..

n was disapointed wif it top speed 110km/h & slow pickup..

But mani forget it is only a 125CC 4-stroke bike..cant expect much!!

 

another -ve point is e high vibration tat causes ur hand numb..

trust mi..is de way u hold de handlebar & ur riding posture..

 

 

 

juz a piece of advice to those wana get roadwin..

 

 

initially....

u will say u dont mind de tOp speed..

u will say u dont mind de slOw pickup..

u will say u r nOt a racer type..

u will say u juz wan a transport bike..

blah blah blah..

but few months dOwn e road..regrets =(

 

do consider carefully..

 

nevertheless..i'm proud to be a rOadwin owner

hehe.. i viewed todae.. quite a good bike. except i may need to do some changes and get it washed up. haha. but i not enough money.. cos initally i tot need onli 600. but needs 2 months up front to the shop.. add up need at least 880..

anyway, guys i need ur help. the roadwin i viewed has a rxz nose fairing which i dun like. i wanna change to original head light. anyone got spare? or does anyone know where to get one n how much??

 

In addition, the guy took out the muffler.. he says any bike shop can replace. is it true? or do i need to get back the original one? again, how much does one cost?

hi guys.. got another problem..

 

the seller told me he doesn't have the logcard cos it's under installment, so log card is with bike shop. is it true?

 

he oso said i cant transfer the name to my name cos under bike shop. so i have to be sub rider first then aft i clear installment then will be transferred to my name. is it true?
