mine's givi simply box anyway. i think its 45L, can put 2 open face helmets side by side no problem..

i'm lookin for red givi simply. brand new one i heard costs 200. have not dropped by ah boy area to check the price.. chai's box is rather new rite? hehe..

 

i took out my e33 box earlier but realised it's rather inconvenient. speed wise not much difference, rather keep the box. hehe. it would be a good choice to fix back the box bro

yeah im planning to fix it back soon. really rather inconvenient. my helmets damn heavy some more go shopping carry helmets i'm half dead already.

 

u buy red box next time if u change bike not planning to keep box ah? or will keep box and buy red bike? haha

1st day Bike Report: FY **20

 

RXZ header + Belly pan. black with some grey design. Absolutely loving it.

 

Odometer & Trip meter reset, so I don't know how long this baby has been going, but today I travlled close to 70kms since I picked it up at CKA HQ. erm.. Petrol seems pretty accurate, but i think mileage approx 25 - 27 km/l. will monitor..

Pump prices to expensive to top full tank. But i think something is wrong.. from near empty, i top up ard 10 litres, but still the needle didn't go past the half-tank mark. other wise, estimated consumption seems pretty accuate.

 

Yes. It vibrates like crazy. around 4.5~5.5k rpm mark, and beyond 9k rpm. when you're in the sweet zone, this baby is a pleasure to ride.

 

EO is by Chexx.. off the shelf at CKA HQ. German stuff, according to roy. 10w-50 the rating.

 

1st service at 1000 km, so by then should be around 2 full tanks, or apprx 80 bucks worth of petrol. *sadded by high fuel prices*

 

didn't dare to let the bike scream too much, was cruising around 85 kmh, rpm was around 7.5k.. I wonder what happens when u touch the redline..

 

Bike stalled twice on the road.. poor acceleration.. Engine braking is quite ok.. but down shifting is pretty rough, perhaps its my echnique, or the EO. But i think its my technique. too used to letting the engine grind when i trying to stop.

 

in search of neutral... when its in neutral, and no matter how u kick, and still can't engage 1st gear, let go of the clutch. then try again...

 

Got my bike viewed over by another mech friend.. he noted:

1) bigger brakes for front and rear.. - not stock..

2) popping sound of throttle.. stock exhaust, but prolly hollow..

3) and my personal fave, he said : "WOW! Its a beauty.."

 

Getting used to the throttling now. It's still a bit sticky.. somewhere around 3/4 of twistin the throttle, there's a slight Jam, but rectified with more effort. is this normal?

no sign of leaks.. tires still got hair, so i don't dare to get low on the bike just yet.

 

Other than that, its a GREAT feeling. It's worth it.

hi guys. im now riding a spark 135. but i was tinking if you guys would recommend a roadwin. i mean, really, is it economical? and the bikes specs. i've been to a couple of websites, but i wanna noe the experience from the riders. haha. words are words, but experiences differ.

 

and where can i get the best bargain for a roadwin in singapore.

If you are looking for really economical, Kups are still the best. But Roadwin's advantage is that its bigger on road, bigger wheels (you nv know whats lying on the roads these days). Its a safe bike cos of its limitation. but its slightly harder to squeeze than a Kup.

 

So it really depends on what you are looking for... I dun recommend changing bikes.. unless its a 2B to 2A cos 2B bikes... are pretty much the same... unless u are talking on sports bike etc.. Transportation bikes are pretty much the same

cubs can easily do 40+km/litre, roadwin abt 30km/litre onli. cubs can easily over take roadwin, roadwin mayb can overtake a cub... MAyb onli.. spark top speed higher than roadwin...

 

but i stil love my ride. it has big wheels, comfortable riding posture, and one full tank gets u far. it looks good too!!! haha.

 

seriously, i would recommemnd u get a roadwin cos i'm a big fan. however, like wad spacerevo said, it's not worth the change.. unless u wanna be like stsoh.. ride so many years liao, settle down on roadwin.. hehe.
