Well... On conclusion to upgrading to 200CC..

It doesnt increase Top speed... I get stuck at 7000 RPM at 110 and climbs slowly to 120... Infact... anything above 6000 RPM climbs damm slow.

Looks like i'm still far from my Ideal 140 KM/h Roadwin.

1)I've Change the Piston, The carb, Ignition system( Ignit coil, spark plug igit, Spark plug) 15/37 Spockets.

The pickup is fantastic... That i have to admit... Its alot stronger than the 125 but this is mainly changing from a 14-42 to a 15-37 sprockets.

Frankly.. I need another roadwin to see if the pickup is really an improvement due to engine gain or its just sprockets.(Anyone willing to lend me their roadwin ?)

2) CDI Limitation

The only part that can really affect the performance of the bike is the CDI. With the restricted stock CDI, the bike could already be forced to limit itself at 110-120 KM/h by daelim...

3) Exhaust Limitation

Even with an open exhaust, i do not believe its sufficient for the engine to effectively emit its exhaust, Roadwin also has an ERS which pumps back the exhaust into the system one more time before releasing it to the exhaust pipe.

In conclusion, I'm waiting for the Moriwaki pipe and going to switch over to 15-40 and 15-42 combination and see how much performance will it defer.

Roadwin 200 is a torque engine.. at 3000-5000 RPM, its a beauty.. above that.. it simply does not have the power to lunge forward.

In this case, as long as ure not an expressway user, the bike should give you enough pickup to send u flying.

In the case of pillion, i think its good as well.. but its not easy to pillion with such a strong engine as well.. I do more braking than usual and its pretty hard at times.

do u think the increase in pickup is more due to 200cc or sprocket change? hows the vibration at 110km/h? i rmbr u said u get 100km/h at 6k rpm rite? is the vibration still alot?? cos i'm thinking hows it like cruising at 110km/hr with lots of vibration??

so u're saying ERS is restricting the exhuast which in turn restricts the power that can be generated with a 200cc engine?

i think that being a 125cc, the RW is already very torquey at Gear 1 and 2. but Gears 4 and 5 not very strong. is it cos of the gear box (ratio)??? correct me if i'm wrong cos i've not ridden many 4stroke 125 bikes.

wad abt diesel bikes else where other than sg.. have u heard of any???

Its mainly by sprocket change but 37 teeth cannot be applied to a 125cc. it will not have any power to move. I can let you try at 110 but its going to shake like hell...

ERS is definately restricting the exhaust outflow.. Even in 125 cc. The problem is just made more obvious by the 200cc engine:giddy:

Our gear 5 ration is 0.9 ++ not very strong... gear 4 still 1.1 At higher RPM, 4 Gear = 5 gear rpm -- 1k RPM

There are diesel bikes outside SG, but its not commercial. guess they are pet projects

would love to try ur monster! haha.

in other words, it's useless to upgrade to 200cc if we're unable to derestrict exhaust outflow?? prob if we derestrict then e vib would decrease??
