It arrived today..after so many months of wait.. Woohoo.. super shiok.. 0-60 is super fast... and it goes all the way yo 7000rpm instead of 5 with my usual trottling.. woohooo....

i feel so different riding de rwR VS my WR LOL ... hmm u all say fast pick up etc... but i dun really feel it ... maybe due to run in period... n i was told by roy not to drag it too much hahah but then again feel lack of power ... any season rider could give me a tip on playing of the gear n ard hw much rpm n spd to change gear! hahah

 

sry for noob question... still getting use to it...

 

what brand of exhuast can fix on a daelim?... n sound good?

nova, if you're thinking of changing your pipe, keep me in mind yea.. may wanna take over your existing pipe. =)

 

for Rdw, seems like the 'sweet zone' is around 5~7k rpm. i usually change around 6k.

 

for speed...

1st Gear

2nd Gear 20-35

3rd Gear 30-around 45

4th Gear 40 - 65~70

5th Gear >60

 

Just a guideline la.. the best is to listen to your engine, it will tell you when to change.

hm, WR will definately be more powerful.. but for me RwR is sufficient cos i travel alot each day.. main concern is fc and also dont get caught for speeding (the longer the travelling distance, the more "gian" u become to speed lol!).

 

yep it is less powerful when u just get the bike.. but after awhile at maybe after 1000km of riding should be better..

 

my preference in changing of gears is 6k - 7k rpm if wana be smooth.. around 10k if wana chiong.. i guess the pickup can be considered good for a 4stroke 125er.. the torque kicks in mainly when changing from 2nd gear to 3rd gear.. on the whole, this bike is not a bike for speed.. mainly for looks. but i feel that for the specs - 4stroke 125cc... its a powerful bike.

 

IXIL pipes can be fixed on RwR. but in CKA only have the short one.. was told by CKA that the pipe has 3 different type of sounds.. soft.. loud.. and SUPER loud!! haha. but not legal ah the pipes havent clear by lta.

if u don't want your chain to stretch too often, look for highest tensile strength eg. RK heavy duty GB428MXZ which has avg tensile strength of 5,800 lbs highest in the 428 chain group.

 

chain tensile strengths extract from catalog:

RK standard M428 = 4,500 lbs.

RK heavy duty GB428MXZ = 5,800 lbs.

 

Standand 428 RK-Malaysia = 4,500 lbs.

Heavy duty 428 RK-Malaysia = 5,400 lbs.

 

DID standard 428S = 4,480 lbs.

DID heavy duty 428H = 5,500 lbs.

No JMCA Cert leh.. i asked HQ to help me check with korea for it cos all Moriwaki pipes have that cert.

Since u using rwR ... the shorty pipe looks good.. frankly.. pickup slightly faster only... U have to compare it with the own class.. rwR vs rwR... something that uncle soh have been mentioning..(hee.. never take his advice on that one.. so it landed me a 5K modification ) but i love my roadwin... feels good to be on it..not like last time.. some half bake cake...

my 5th gear is at 70.

9K rpm is at 115.

Drag alittle will be at 120

drag super long 125 and its screaming
