maintanence for new bike?u only need EO and oil filter. many place also can do, i do either at bikewerkz or Loois itself.

 

unless u talking 2 years maybe down the road then u need parts replacement, i dun foresee one so soon. but JB and msia many guys riding z800, support there is good.

Hi Az, where did you got ur Z800? Price?

I went Looi today and they quoted me Z800 at 22K w/o insurance and Z1000 at 25K w/o insurance.

2 bikes price diff by 3k. Dun know how to choose le. Any advise. Thanks.

z1k prob eats abit more petrol abit more insurance and abit more fun? lol

 

the rest of the qualities i think is the same. i took the 800 coz i dun ride like a demon and rarely go Msia so i dun really need all the power. im happy with my choice. gd luck in urs!

I prefer the slimmer 800....

 

1000 a little too bulky IMHO for me....due to my build

go for it! i just added a few stuffs like mirrors and original windshield from kawa.

 

soon the pipe will change then im done.. haha

just to share what ive done so far to the bike.. not much.

added the original kawa windshield , actually more like cover meter. replace tomok mirror, added green shift sock, godsendworx radiator cover, iu sticker.

lastly for performance, added bazzaz ZFI + quickshifter. in afew weeks time, sliders and pipe will reach our shore. yipeee..some pics:

nice la bro u book urs at where? mirror i got off alibaba but sg very ez to find.. wind shield is original kawasaki parts i order from my contact in JB at awesome price with shipping.
