I'm ok with this saturday. Mind you that it will be my 1st time going there. I'll only be spectating.

Hi Rom, when you go to PG you might as well give it a try. Don't worry about the fast riders. You pay for it just like them beside everybody will have to look out for one another. For start just take it easy and slowly progress. I go there occasionally and I guarantee its fun.

But how to ensure as a first timer we don't endanger other riders while riding considerably fast on the track?

Ride fast..ride safe..don't crash...

this is a high risk sport... u cant ensure... the only way is to not ride... but then tat would b not fun oso.. heheh

Well there's always first time for everything . Of course there are risk. On track are sports riders not hell riders. Strict rules and discipline need to apply, that's why I prefer track to road to "play" my bike.

first get ear plugs, then the rule my mentor told me

 

"stick to your own line, dont make suddenly changes to your line to make way for other riders,

the fast rider will know how to overtake u.

I want to but I have a number of missing riding gears. I've got a helmet and ...only a helmet. Haha. I'm running abit tight on $$$ this month. Does PG offer suit rental services? Anyways, I'm going there to plan my route of attack by eavesdropping and at least knowing which gear for which corner. I don't like getting into something without preparation.

That true... but as for the ear plug, u can skip it... ha..ha..

Trackday and raceday is totally different in cat..

Tracday is riding on the track for fun and enjoying it...a good rider mostly know what to do when to overtake ,

But raceday is all being on the front...

Complete race gear will cost you as near 1k minimum..not including helmet..

As for gearing must depend yr riding style and bike...

Not to worry, u will learn it how to get use of the full power of the bike..

Off track a bit here, wanna seek recommendations for 2 piece track suit. Wanting to get a 1 piece but a 2 piece would be more appropriate. Do share your opinion guys! :thumb:
