guys, there is a 17" rim for fireblade ~!

was told by ah meng (skudai - top speed motor) dat a PGM4 front rim is able to fit the CBR900 easily. who is interested, maybe can arrange with the seller to go to a bikeshop n do fitting. :goodluck:

yeah i just got a pgm4 front rim fitted on my blade... was told by mech tt will be easier to handle...

 

so far, from wad i felt riding on the street with it..the lean is less scary... but since i've not sorted out the suspension settings, will update the cornering qualities next time...

 

my pgm4 rim came in pink colour, was damn funky...luckily it got resprayed in black...

nice... so now its confirmed dat a PGM4 rim fits the cbr9. cornering sure feel much better lorh. :thumb:

for the pgm4 rim, the fitment is sibeh swee, no need to modify brake calipers, rotors, mudguard. just transfer the original brake rotors to the pgm4 rim, change new tyres, then can liao. :thumb:

 

however, i dunno if the pgm4 rim will limit me to funny tyre sizes. if anyone here has used other bikes' rims other than pgm4's, care to share type n size of tyre suitable?

that's good man.

only 16" rim will give you trouble for choosing tyre type.

 

17" rim open you route to all kind of tyre...

that's why everyone wanna change to 17" rim...
